he still seems to do stuff in london, but i think he is too much of an arrogant twat to travel around. I remember at Innovation In The Sun about 3 years ago seeing Det on stage. this chav climbed up the railings in front and was slapping him enthusiastically on the arm. I saw the fire burn in Det's steroid abused eyes, and suddenly he grabbed the chav by the face and launched him off the stage. The chav then got up, looking pretty confused, and celebrated this encounter through the medium of a brief spell of ultra spazzy raving (supported by horrendous gurn). Needless to say, Det probably went on to violate some defenceless young girl...

He's actually a really nice bloke That doesnt make his MC 'Skills' any better...... I once seen him walk into Hardware @ The End whilst Ink and 2shy were on. He walked into the booth almost expecting 2shy to hand him the mic. I think 2Shy kindly told him where to go whilst the entire crowd hissed and shouted at him to fuck off!!! What a TWAT!!!!

And while that other thread mentions John B, ill talk about him here, save bumping a 4 year old thread...
He does seem a bit full of himself these days, but way back when he used to come to play our raves he'd come with his old man (who is a proper long haired hippy type) who would stand like back, middle of the dancefloor, proper proud as punch that his geeky engineering student son was smashing up a rave full of rudeboy yoots, nothing like any other dj that would come to play.
Then he found a winning combo of neon and clown hair, got all sorts of pussy.....

His fragile legs collapsed under the sheer weight of his comically oversized chest cavity and now he resembles a blacker version of Joe from Family Guy. Ergo, he can only addend raves with wheelchair accessibility.

I used love DET back in the day. He did just turn into parody of himself spitting the same lyrics at everytime but when you're on a buzz in the rave you don't give a shit!!

Det has bin a victim of laziness and hasnt evolved with the game same as Fearless and Riddla with very little or no new fresh bars over a long time scale, you can only get away with rinsing the same lyrics for so long and the music changes so quickly that old flows sound tired and unsuited to modern day beats. Det is still going but doesnt have the fan base by a long stretch that he used to, still a legend and a veteran in his own right, but 1 that needs to sit down with his pen and pad and come back fresh

What a TWAT!!!! you know, you should show some respect. once upon a time d&b was actually about having fun and brocking out with a swagger, rather than standing around wanking over the latest Icicle track with 150 other young boys in skate shoes and crap addict hoodies. det was fucking sick back in the day, him and skibba together were untouchable. hit em high, hit em high, hit em high, hit em low....
