I am of the opinion that no genre should contain the prefix 'funky'. The only genre allowed to be 'funky' in any way is funk.  OMG Death Star!!!11

More responsibility

More hassle

Not much extra money

Less teaching time + meetings instead

It's my fault if stuff goes wrong

Good for the CV

Some people might consider it prestigious (I don't)

- not really worth it, is it?

I guess it's because your brain is taking in a lot more new stimulus than normal. Brains fill in a lot of gaps automatically and during the day to day rat run it just assume everything is where it was last time. When you are in a new place your brain has to put effort into assimilating everything for the first time rather than just bodging.

Sounds like a logical explanation.

Woke up thinking about mum this morning. We all miss her like crazy.  Heart LIGHTAH! Heart

Big hugs Skip. I lost my Dad two months ago and even though it wasn't a shock, there's something soberingly grown-up about losing a parent and find little things remind me of him all the time. Grief can catch you off guard, but so can happy memories, and that's how they stay with us... they pop up every now and again in a thought, or hearing a song, a particular smell, or remembering something funny. Stay strong lady, the sadness does fade over time, but the happy memories last a life time  Heart Heart Heart

Seeing how my dad was for quite some time when lost my grandad I can feel for everyone that's lost a parent, and to use the sobering word, its another reminder out of blissful immaturity to come to terms that one day I'll have to go through that (unless they outlive me of course!)

I've been enjoying all this sunshine and warmth. Just enough time for it to fuck off before the weekend.  I'M SO ANGRY!
