I hope this thread aint a repost, pretty sure it's not! I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to classic sets from old tape packs! Sorry mods if this aint allowed but it's okay on other forums like dnbarena if the sets are +10 years old..

Anyway, here's my first contribution: Being an MC, allways been a massive Helter Skelter fan, this ones from Helter Skelter New Years Eve 1998-99, 'The Final Countdown'. DJ Hype and MC MC in their prime!

http://uploading.com/files/88651me6/Hype%252B%2540%252BHelter%252BSkelter%252BThe%252BFinal%252BCountdown%252B31.12.98%252BSide%252BA.mp3/

Hope you like!  LIGHTAH!

this was my favourite tape ever though, even with skippin deck and ridiculous tunes, it's just bare vibes

Tis a fucking classic Hype set.. Will DL that Mickey Finn one later on, meant to be working right now and I work from home so better not get too distracted lol.. Obsession with Sy and Scratchmaster Techno, had a quick look on the sites I use but couldn't find it mate, would be a good listen though if anyone else can find it

It comes up all the time, but you can't have a thread like this without Top Buzz @ Fantazia Takes You Into 1992 (NYE 1991)

BUMP.

Does anyone have Marvellous Cain's mix from Rave Nation the Old Skool Payback pt2. 1998? Pretty pretty please.  Two Thumbs It's terribly mixed but so many good tunes! I've got the tape somewhere but f*ck knows where. Even if I can find it I'd really rather not have to spend time finding a tape player and ripping it to mp3....

In the meantime I feel I need to share this one: https://www.yousendit.com/download/MzZHRGw4NDJwM2xFQlE9PQ

Andy C from One Nation in 1999. Hosted by: Skibba, Shabba + Fearless...  Tomato Slayer! Some absolute classic dancefloor destruction. DL is only valid for 5 days though so get it quick. Wink

I used to buy a lot of tapes at replay in Bath. I remember buying a Billy Nasty tape at a rave called UFO (I think).

If anyone has this, could you UL it? I'd be eternally grateful.

Was from 93 or 94 I think.

Good thread though, nice one.
