a self-perpetuating problem

Smashed

But then, pedantry was always one of Hijack's best features.

Hijack still gets almost 100,000 page views a month.  The threads/content are very well-indexed and easily found when searching Google.

A drop in posts is a self-perpetuating problem, as fewer posts cause even fewer posts.

Over the last few weeks, there has been discussion of a magazine-style format returning, with a redesign, guest bloggers/writers, event ticket sales and *gasp* an integrated calendar.  This is going to be a lot of work but is part of a bigger plan with the ticketing company I've launched recently and integration with Hijack is one of the avenues to its launch in the UK.

If anyone would like to contribute content and have it seen by many people (remember that there are still thousands of registered members, who will be emailed upon relaunch, as well as the high ranking of Hijack threads on search engines), please give me a shout via PM.

Cheers,
Rit

There will be a calendar-related announcement within the next fortnight (I kid you not).

Okay correcting your own posts is one thing, but editing my quote too is just downright underhanded. Wink

See I look at this graph and I notice that I got a girlfriend at around the time Hijack began to decline.  Two Thumbs

It appears we passed D-day of 14/08/13 and we are still here, limping weakly along! Yay for us and non-productive work days!

I ran the numbers, can anyone comment on the apparent rising trend of users online?

Please listen to and enjoy my new track 'Shit War'. It's a commentary
on the shitness of war.
