taken a whiel for this thread to come up. thought i'd see it today...
Arsenal played awful, but equally didn't put out a strong side. With UTD out the cup as well it'll help Arsenal's title hopes to be out of it too, however as an Arsenal its not good to see them lose so badly, especially the one time its on normal television.

the arse put a player in front of the net 15 times!!!! urinal had fewer chances but they put them away when they're there. how we missed i don't know.
denilson shouldn't have been on the pitch.

Reuters are reporting that all UK airports have been closed due to a cloud of dust in the atmosphere. Police have arrested a cleaner in Arsenal's trophy room.

bump It was 17 years btw Only way that could have been sweeter would have been Gallas to score the winner Arsene Wenger becomes easier to hate on an almost daily basis. No grace or class whatsoever, I don't care how pretty the football his teams play is. That footage of him soaking himself in anger/frustration is gonna be a defining one of this season

Not much to Braga-bout Looks like the fans aren' too happy either... from the BBC JRAsh1 on Twitter: "All good things come to an end. Sadly the ending has been ongoing for 5 years. Wenger out, along with a few players, please." I can't believe it, but I'm getting a lot of these texts. Seriously.

there is something a little disheartening about spurs fans gloating When you've grown up with about 90% of your good mates being Arsenal fans, getting cussed CONSTANTLY, I think you're allowed to gloat under present circumstances. Anyway, people need to stop being blinded by the pretty (yet ineffective) football... Arsenal are a team of cunts, with an utter cunt of a manager

Can't believe some Gooners are calling for Wenger's head! IMO their team is still not peaking - most players are still under 25! But I think Wenger needs some success soon or players will want to move on. And Wenger's appalling track record with defenders is hurting him - he still hasn't replaced Gallas, Viera or Petit properly. Although I felt sorry for him when Flamini wanted to move as he looked like a proper combative midfielder, which is what they need. You can't win titles without a 'breaker' IMO.

Spurs got us because they changed the shape of their play and either wenger or the captain missed it. Gallas wasn't all that, he was a lumbering presence in a team full of whippets. Hleb was a key player to loose - him and rossiki were forming a good partner ship. I rate Song, and sagna and clichi are spot on down the wings. Wolcot spot on, fabregas is fabregas I can see why people are narked with wenger as he is refusing to stop playing pretty football, and just about every team knows how to stop arsenal playing. but I am a gooner and I'm proud of our team maintaining the standard and style of game. Its just the teams immaturity that means we get overly confident when we win and too easilly shell shock when we let one in.

Walcott is not 'spot on'... like I said above, he only seems to play well when the team's in control. He's not a game changing player, truly great players can lift the team single handed. Fabregas, and maybe Nasri, are the only ones who have that ability right now. Song's good, but he's no Viera or Petit in their prime - and that's what you lot are desperately missing. And you call it immaturity, I call it arrogance. Wayne Bridge not shaking Terry's hand was fair enough... Nasri just came across like a little bitch. Did you even watch the Spurs game? Saying Gallas wasn't all that STINKS of sour grapes... I've been one of his harshest critics since he came to Spurs, but he was immense in that game.

Saying Gallas wasn't all that STINKS of sour grapes... I've been one of his harshest critics since he came to Spurs, but he was immense in that game. I was meaning Gallas was rubbish for arsenal (hence the whippet comment), he is more valued at spurs and yes he did play belter and yes it was galling. Hmm arrogance, I think self belief can be misinterpreted as arrogance but there is a definite attitude problem at the emirates. Song can play against barca and keep it flowing or play mid table prem teams and get stuck in. Walcott is a guided missile, when we're not playing well it means their defence is usually locked tight and we can't draw them out, the minute that happens there's a crack for walcot to do his thing. Admittedly we don't deserve top 3 right now. I'd almost put money on us winning the next euro game. Wenger needs to stop the brilliant/shit cycle and get some consistensy. We've been shit so now the team will start playing again (as long as the bloody goalie keeps his head)

I'm curious... would Jack Wilshere have fallen over like that if he was hit that hard in a fight? Was barely a headbutt, more a nuzzle lol. N'Zogbia did have to go, but I'm sick of seeing players drop like sacks of potatos for nothing. They're either play acting, or utter pussies
