Bad news for bristol rugby. It will go something like this.

Lansdown needs something to underline the need for a stadium as a stadium just for City is far from justifiable. Get Rugby in there, build the stadium, the pitch will be shit, he gets rid of rugby and they will have knowhere to go.

Well he must be thinking long term then as hes been investing in the rugby team for a few years now secretly (in minutes he's named 'white knight.') In fact he saved us when we were in severe financial trouble couple of years back when we failed to go back up after being relegated.

As long as the money is there, I'm more than happy. When we've had knock-backs in the past, there hasn't been the financial support to hold onto the best of our players and we've had to struggle to build the squad up again. What we have now is a great team that is improving with each new signing, current players like Jack Tovey pledging their future to Bristol and the money behind us to keep us safe through any hardships.
