We've got a good 3 inches so far here in Godalming and it's supposed to get heavy for the next three hours according to Met Check. We're arranging snowball duels and snowman building contests on the high street for all the snowed-out-of-work mandem!

Walked in this morning from Knowle (Priory Road/Broadwalk) down to Temple Meads. We've had a at least 4 inches up there and it just got more sloppy and slippy the further down the hill we wlaked. Left my missus to complete her journey (to the bus station area) about 30 minutes ago, but I've not heard form her yet!

Good 2 inches (in the ungritted/unwalked areas) around the triangle/university. God freaking damn me living a 5 minute walk away. I could never get away with calling in seeing as most of my colleagues will walk as far as my place to get lunch.

I could quite easily have walked in, but my boss sent me a text message before 7am this morning saying "I suggest you work from home today unless you absolutely need to go in". Result. Shame I'm too busy to go out and play in it, but at least I'm sat on my sofa in my pyjamas, rather than sat in an office on my own.

Walked from Victoria Park to St. Mary Redcliffe. I'm the only person in on my floor. Cue doing no work.
Walking through Victoria Park was a nightmare, those steep stairs are well dodgy!
Got into work, and it looks as though I'll be going home by lunchtime! Bonus!

They always say "don't travel unless absolutely neccessary".... Save a handful of medical professionals I doubt anyone who's on hijack has a job that neccessarily can't wait til tomorrow. Least of all my job, given I work in support and none of the people I support are here. Makes it doubly annoying to be here. Might go outside and draw a cock in some snow.

That was actually a rather fun walk in, got over my fear of the feeling crunching snow makes, used to have a similar effect to nails down a black board, and it only took 50mins (Top of cromwell to cumberland rd).
Got ambushed once by some kids in montpelier and managed to sneak up on a mate and pelt her with about 3 snow balls while she screamed. Got a kick in the shin for my troubles.

I wish I didn't have an internet based job, managed to convince my boss I would be better off working from home rather than wasting a couple of hours sat in a car, but would much rather be joining in the snowball fight some kids are having outside the Plough at the moment

Bless you snow...

About 8-12 inches here in Oxford. I live 2 miles away from work - walked in, took 45 mins. Very, very bitter about being here. There's no excuse I could have used, though. Gah.
