I moved to Bristol about a month ago I'm originally from Devon. I first came to Bristol when I was about16 to ride the skate parks on my BMX and back then i remember thinking to myself on day i want to live in brizzle. When I was about 17/18 I started to go to DnB nights mainly down Plymouth dance academy, now closed down R.I.P. Nowadays going to a dnb rave really doesn't appeal to me, probably rather stand in a puddle of mud with a bunch of mongo free party spazz clarts who cant even remember their name cus they've done so much ketamine.  My first love for music was probably the U.K hip hop scene mainly late 1990s and early 2000s. I still nowadays enjoy listening to albums such as jehsts Return of the Drifter any early low life records stuff taskforce ect. When I was bout 18 me and my mate went 2s on a laptop and we started producing since then my music tastes have gone from Breakcore to minimal techno, dubstep,booty base, jungle bla bla. To be fair I would pretty much give anything a listen except trance hard House bullocks. My favorite producers DJ of all time are probably Remarc, Bizzy B, on the jungle tip, rusko, Casper, pinch on the dubstep ship, bong Ra, Ebola, flashbulb, Venetian snares on the mashup. Then people like Lukes Anger, Jerome Hill 4 in the club getting tipsy.. I don't dj so my knowledge of techno and house is minimal but when i hear it my ears tell me that i like it and i think thats all that really matters. I am currently on the hunt 4 a job so I need to get off my arse at go looking. Remarc&plastician playing on the 7.11 so I'm hoping to go to that. ez all, i moved to bris from the sou' west at the start of the summer but been goin out here for a few yrs. starting to spend alot of time of hijack recently (esp at work cos its not blocked!) so thought it was about time to contribute something / get involved with the abuse etc. 

i like electronica/dubstep/jungle/techno/bassline/breakcore stuff, produce fairly poor tunes and like grotty clubs.

My name is Rob Noyce and I'm fairly new to mixing and I thought I would introduce myself in here.

I started mixing Jump Up but now moved on to a more techstep dark style of drum and bass.

I'm 20 Years old and In the final year of my BA Popular Music and Record Production Degree.

I play Bass Guitar as a main instrument, Piano was my first, and Guitar and Drums are ones that I dabble in too.

I completed a BTec national diploma in music practice and a national award in music composing.at college.

Music has to be my favourite hobby and I hope to have a job in the industry some day.

I seen this and thought, "yes i'm new" wohoo. go us newerss =]

Well basically im stacey, 17, did go too 6form and studied business studies and travel and tourism, but.. that wasnt for me + a few other little things that made me drop out.  at the moment im looking for a job =] < like so many others that have just left school (Y)

I'm easy enough to get along with and i do like meeting new people and chatting!! I tend too do alot of that, sometimes a bit too much  butt.. on the other hand, that could be a good thing, as part of the reason for me having a lot of friends!

I live in Bristol but used to visit the weymouth area ALOT! and know alot of mates down there as a result of it! I used to stay in Bowleze cove, the only Jet-skiing sloped area in the town! and as you can imagine, i was always down there. I love anything with speed, but i have to be in control of it other wise i get slightly nervous. Like i would often go jet skiing on my own, or take people on the back on mine, however i didnt like going on the back of other peoples.

Anyway.. i love all sorts of music really, i used to be a proper hardcore raverr, but since i met my boyfriend (11months ago  ) hes changed me to the darker side of drum and bass. i do tend to listen to the hardcore when hes not playing his music though.   

I do have some future plans for my life in the next couple of years i guess, i want to go back to college next year and study something about nails. =] sounds fun to me, and i like to try things new. a job is a must! i need one to help support myself and my mum, as im still living with her at the moment. i used to live with my boyfriend, but we lost our place, but once i get a job on the scene then i shall be moving on out again.

=] im not very interesting i know, but hah.. fuck it!

just moved after 6 years in London working with the mentalists, originally from cornwall. passionate about drum n bass, musically also love hip hop, breaks, funk, jazz....anything with soul i guess.

little bit of dj'ing for crews such as nizim and this way up and my own friendly fire crew. also had the privilege to play in paris, montpellier, marseille, avignon and a few other places in france. In terms of my style....i'd say stuff that stays the distance...proppa music rather than throwaway noise.
