That's some interactive "art" at Tate St Ives. Not good for those with balloon phobias but the only decent part. All the rest was shit.

I really like the Yellow Lines, Simba. Just needs the yellow to jump out a bit more. I try to avoid post-processing as much as possible but think I'd be tempted to there. Emma, the Tom and China cat pics looks great next to each other, like he's reacting to it. It's been a while since I posted anything here, sorry to dump so many... Playing about with Camera apps is fun this one is called Vignette if you want it. On the Android Market for £2.49. Well worth it. Try the DEMO if you're unsure.

Marina by ronnie101, on Flickr Annoyingly high tide wasn't high enough to breach the causeway and the sun setting has added too much contrast to the sky. Need a tide over 12m, in the morning (so the sun's behind me), on a weekend, with a rough sea, when if its not raining. No chance! Will try Berrow lighthouse next time.

Thinking about looking to buy ND filters, anyone have any tips or advice?
After a quick scan on flickr I think I am going to have a go at making one myself for a couple of quid!

Depends on what results you want from them. 10 stop for nice flowing water and all that and graduated ones for lanscapes to keep the skys in check. Never used them myself though. a few of my latest images- On the ranges all week so gonna take my camera with me.

Brought out the sky, the stone and the roof all really nicely. The green of the grass bothers me though, but good work for a first go!

Too much saturation on the grass you reckon? I tried to make it as vivid as possible without looking fake. Fail?

I'm looking to buy a wide angle lens for my cannon 550d. Has anyone had any experiences with wide angle lens on canons? Any recommondations?
I'm looking at the 10-20mm canon one but a bit worried as I'm used to using my 50mm f1.8 on a wide aperture yet the 10-20 only goes to 3.5.
any help suggestions
P.s the only lens I have is the 50mm f1.8.

Ive got a sigma 10-20 for Nikon, Its great for landscapes and its all i use for clubbing. You can get a few 'cone heads' on a few shots but get up close and its brill.

That one was taken with a 17-55 tamron @2.8 Just bought this lens.. Hope I've made a good choice. Spent ages trying to decide on my wide angles.. I was going to get the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 originally, but last minute decided to put it off a while and get the Tamron, as well as 3 super neat old M42 mount lenses.. Think I've done myself a good deal!! Can't wait to get snapping with them all. The excitement...!!
