INLAND EMPIRE (Sun 13th - Tue 15th / 8pm / £4/3/2TTT)(David Lynch / 2006 / USA - Poland / 180 mins / Cert 18) David Lynch once again takes us on a picaresque journey through the mysterioussubconscious of LA and Old Europe in this trademark tale of 'a woman introuble'. The woman in this case is Laura Dern, who materialises as a numberof female characters, all seemingly linked by experience though different insocial and psychological status. Inland Empire really finds like the summationof the director's past few works, an out-takes album of lost ideas andenigmatic puzzles to stretch the mind and take us to that place we all know asLynchville.
