To clarify, I am not saying it wouldn't be great if it happened, just that it is unlikely that it will happen. I also think it is daft to tell people to spend money on this lottery rather than a Hijack night. Why not both? I misunderstood that it was a draw, I thought there would be a selection panel or something. lol, 'poo-pooing'. Surely an idea as solid as this should be able to stand up to a bit of critisism.  |

It's been a bit of a crap 24 hours for the club as well, our top striker last season Lee Phillips has been loaned out to Eastleigh, much to the dismay of fans. None of the team have been firing on all cylinders, but he was the most likely to suddenly come into form.
Anyway, the kitty is still at £18.30, please please please throw anything in that you can, I'm determined we go for at least £50!

So poeple sponsor the fund for every 1,000 posts e.g Batman may say for every 1,000 in a thread he'll give 50p. if a few poeple did that then a thread would in a week or so get all the money plus it would possibly put a thread with nothing but bumps to the top of the board. Then when it's over and the money is raised the mods could lock it. Either that or we do a Hawaiian day - everyone pays a quid and changes their name and avatar to a Hawaiian theme.
