its not that i dont get it.. its that i get it and know its very easy to make.. ive made loads of tunes that sound like breakcore, difference is i didnt bother to save them

have you seen the drum machine on reason?? yes i bet you have..

have you tried filling in all 16 drum keys? yes i bet you have..

have you repeated this for 7 bars? yes i bet you have

have you found an amen break and used it for the eighth bar? yes i bet you have..

have you repeated this? yes i bet you have..

mate i used to hammer the gabba when i was a kid, well i say hammer, it was there alongside other forms of music i could appreciate, most of which have now moved on because that particular music, be it hiphop, dnb, pop, hardcore or anything else has matured in time with influences and technology... breakcore is really still that gabba, kick kick kick kick kick kick snare its not some kind of high and mighty artform and i can't say i've found anything that pushes any musical boundaries at all...

it wouldnt have happened before reason cos any producer that would go to the real effort of making music wouldnt be happy to produce a pile of shit, nowadays kids, as ever, see making music as a way to gain fame and cred and as pretty weak drum / kick / snare / amen /mentaaaaal!!!! is all they can produce they know they can still be successful palming it off as music, it's like the really annoying tune on the radio that when you've been forced to learn the words to it cos you can't get away from it you then get a soft spot for, it's human nature.. sorry i don't buy it..  literally

i do get it, i listened to it for many a year i told you, it satisfies a youthful spirit, this type of racket has for many a generation, what i dont get is how you can turn around and say wobble this wobble that, when 1. you dont know what i listen to and 2. you make less musically qualified tunes than alot of the wobble kinda stuff that is out there.. i'm up in this thread cos i just dont get how you're thinkin your music's so great while youre ready to slag anything else off so readily, like i said i understand your music, especially when wonkedout to the eyeballs.. a field of it at glastonbury is NOT what that or any other already established festival needs tho (imHo) So yeh sorry maybe i've come purely to spoil the party, but humility is often an overlooked quality, and also this is the online utpouring of a few convo's ive had in the real world recently.. basically there aint much scope in it,

DnB will be around forever now, its big enough and discovered enough of its own boundaries to be recognised as a music genre in itself.. the only way breakcore is gonna be around in later years is by you guys hard rehashing what is essentially gabba and jungle (great combo, has worked for years) and the people who do the rehashing claimingfame off it.. so thats what im saying.. its all a rehash for people who are initfor the fame...

1. it is a bit random, which i realise is its appeal in some ways but not really
2. it is a bit noisy, but i realise this is music, and that if i go off the music and the concept of it thats my fault not the musics
3. whats with all the shit names? intestinal disease?? ?? ? ? shitmat??  get out of my sight please!
4. what why when where or how is it any kind of cultured sound? there is nothing original in it to call a culture, which i feel a genre needs to be whole..
5. it is very simple to make.. frustratingly so when you hear alot of it, and this is due to the simplicity of music software nowadays.. and the same people come on here and slag roni size, when he was writing better tunes 14 years ago with 40 seconds sampling time for the whole of a track than any 'wobble wobble' these reason sluts choose to use as an example..
6. it's generally made by snobby white kids, who generally seem to be just that..
7. theres just not much general appeal, and until there is some, it wont be toppin any festival bills with any serious cudos (sp?), one is either a bit fik or pulling wool over eyes if one thinks it will

why do you think the police let the breakcore rigs carry on for so long for the last few years? previous to that when techno dnb house etc, music with structure, was being played the parties were busier and rigs were getting seized all the time, is it not a coincidence that they left the breakcore rigs alone, or is it actually common sense on their part because they'd like to see the scene lose it's appeal? soon as the breakcore was stoppin being played, like in wales a few months back, the rigs were seized...Huh

I never thought good breakcore was easy to make tbh -  like in every genre there are crap tunes, breakcore,  D'n'B or whatever. However, lots of  stuff I have heard blows my mind with its complexity and I don't really know many other genres of music that can do that.

yes i can. i know i'm wasting my time by posting this, but breakcore is fun, i have fun when i go dance to breakcore at goatlab, bashout etc, and i have fun making it.

UTTER BOLLOX.
Shit breakcore might be easy to create but to make a decent tune you need skills and talent.  Thats the case with all music. To say decent music producers do not touch it is just pure bollox.  My advice to you is to get some understanding before you start posting drivel.  Two Thumbs

What is it then, at the top of it's agenda (is breakcore a person or something?)

And I really thought I was having fun when I was going to breakcore nights, obviously I'm quite wrong, it was actually torture, thats why I go to them most weeks, anyways, I need to get back Reason.
