Ms. Lynch, if you are interested in putting forward a fair and representative article, then you may conact us in private here, or by email.
There are far too many different comments on here for us to try and reply to individually, and it seems our efforts at explaining our actions have fallen largely on deaf ears. Yes, art is subjective, it would be ridiculous for us to suggest otherwise, we are merely trying to raise awareness about the devaluing of aesthetic appreciation before it's too late. If people keep hailing every new fad as genius or brilliance, our standards for what we are willing to accept in our visual domain will continue to slide.
The longer we perpetuate the upliftment of and media circus surrounding these modern day da vincis, or Urban Artists as we prefer to call them, the greater the struggle we will have in reforming our concepts of true artist talent when the boat of fickle, pseudo-political and two dimensional "artwork" sets sail. What if people walking down stokes croft, or any other number of streets in this city, could raise their heads to view something genuinely soul stirring? Something genuinely thought provoking? Something that took time, effort and talent to create? Our actions were not trying to fulfil this role, but were designed to bring attention to the issue.
We would ask that people let go of their current conceptions and instead demand that artwork in the public visual domain be of substance!
Blatent troll. Zammo's been keeping himself busy, I won't say what I know he's been up to though... travelling, non?

Even if they are a troll, it's not like they are saying anything you wouldn't expect from whoever threw the paint and put up the website.

It wouldn't be excellent trolling at all, they are barely scratching the surface of the possibilities. Not that I think it is a troll anyway.

Im not a fan of tags but all other graffiti is alright. its something to look at while walking around the city and certainly beats looking at a blank wall. Also, anything that provokes thought is a good thing. helps us see things from a different perspective.

Yeah! Come On! Post some more generalisations! Rah! The internet tough-guy BS is getting really tiresome. Bar someone from Clean Collective actually posting on here to admit/deny responsibility, this thread really has no further to go. The troll posting as CC is only going to wind people up more & could end up with retaliation against people who might not even be involved. Someone has already indicated physical violence. It needs locking.

Maybe a mod could tell us if this is actually a troll or not?

SARAH AND ALICE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!
1. NEITHER WENT TO UWE. 2. SARAH IS IN INDIA. 3. ALICE DOESN'T EVEN LIVE IN BRISTOL
This has caused a lot of upset and stress to two very lovely, innocent and talented people.
