Dear Friends of Balkan beats in Bristol,
The Caravan! parties have now become a monthly event at Leftbank in Stokes Croft so write down these dates on your diary and come & shake this booty to the best swinging bands in Bristol and the freshest Balkan & Gypsy music this side of Bohemia.
October: Friday 15th The Takeaway Orchestra plays a 1920's soundtrack of Swing and Weimar Cabaret - This is the only Gypsy Octoberfest in Bristol!
November: Friday 19th Ali Baba has nicked all the guitars of the Gypsy Kings and will open his treasure for 1 night only - It's gonna be a steal!
December: Friday 17th Troyka are coming back by popular demand to perform their high energy mix of Balkan & Eastern European musical magic. Since it's our Xmas party, will they be performing Jingle Bells, in the style of Django Reinhardt?
Of course, DJ's Ann Pan and Nicolala will be spinning their funky Gypsy tunes, loud and clear on the 3 nights.
We hope to see you there!
Gypsy regards,
Nicolala and Ann Pan
Boheme Promotions present: CARAVAN! Balkan & Gypsy Music, Old and New
Every 3rd Friday at Leftbank, Stokes Croft Tax £3-£5 9PM-2AM
128 Cheltenham Road, Bristol BS2
CARAVAN! parties are Bristol most exciting Balkan and Gypsy DJ club nights, but with a twist, combining live performance early evening with DJ spinning Balkan, Flamenco & Gypsy tunes later on to create a truly awesome club night.
