Bi-weekly Ableton workshop! Date: Wed 29th Feb Time: 7pm - 9pm Place: The conference room, Full Moon For those who haven't been down before, this is a knowledge share workshop where you can turn up to ask questions or give us your tips and advices on Ableton. Beginners to experts - any level welcome. You are likely to discover some short cuts to things which used to take you ages! The workshop is free... but some of us are chipping in together to hire the room so donations are obviously welcome - it's up to you. The workshops take place upstairs in the conference room at the Full Moon, Stokes Croft. If you haven't been there before please ask at the bar for directions. We've had a bit of a lengthy break after Christmas but we're getting back on it!
In the first part of the session we'll cover some of the basics for Ableton beginners.
In the second part, we'll cover some of the essential tools pre-mix down; compression, re-verb, chorus + genereal stereo width, delay, EQ
Plus we'll try to do the "effect of the week" in each session. This week, we'll cover the Random MIDI effect.

We'll have one main laptop hooked up to the projector & monitors and that's where we tend to focus on rather than individual laptops. Half of us turn up without it anyway!
