This has the really common disc drive fault that some of the early ones had. Apparently easy and cheap to resolve but I can't be arsed and don't have the space for it anymore. I think it's a 40gig drive.
£40 or reasonable offer. Must go fairly soon.

do you know if this is still on the older firmware? (When was it last updated?) (I need pre 3.55 firmware) if so, then I'm def interested. What's the problem with the drive exactly? symptoms?

Not sure mate. I did some kind of hard reset on it while trying to diagnose the problem so everything's back to factory settings. The laser has gone and the drive needs replaced. It's an easy job like I say but I just don't need it anymore.
