I've just got my PC about perfect and realised that I do get some joy tinkering but I don't have the money to start a new one.
So I might be selling my rig...
Q6600 - modest O/C to 3gig (60 degrees under load) can go further if you want but then it starts getting warm. Asus p5q pro turbo (ambient rarely goes above 27degrees) 8Gb Ram Msi 560ti o/c - runs at 1ghtz (65 under load) if you really want and extra 10%fps but it copes with everything at stock. Leadteck 9600GT card for dedicated physx 4 x 120mm case fans all at low rpm so v.quiet, i might even say silent. THermaltake Tough Power 675 modular PSU Blu Ray drive Asus Xonar D1 soundcard WD Black edition 500GB Samsung 1TB
Black Fractal R3 case
This thing runs very cool and very quiet. BF3 pretty much maxed out at 1920x1200 30-40fps
To build an I5 based rig to the same spec is £1200
Does anyone want to make an offer?

2 pounds
of Kopi Luwak coffee and you might have a deal Kopi Luwak, also known as Civet Coffee, is the most expensive (and connoisseurs say the best tasting) coffee in the world , retailing for between £100 – £300 per lb. http://kopiluwak.org.uk/Instead of the 2lb of "cat shit" shall we say £200?

in fact
I can add a case and old IDE HDD and a case fan for free
and add £60 for a PSU i bought that is not HTPC quiet - not noisey by any stretch but not silent.
So a full system for £230 that if you put a decent gfx card can play any game out there.
It wont be pretty but it will work.
