Does anyone know of anyways to make a growl fill out a mix, i.e - fattening and widening the growls by using stereo wideners and plug in's such as camel phat and sausage fattener, it is possible due to artists such as Bare, Protohype and Getter and many more, their basslines fill out most of the mix and i can't put my finger on how they do it Sad

They smash it to fuck in mastering, I'd imagine.

If you're using one instrument to fill up your entire mix it wouldn't be too delicate an operation to whump all of the air out of it in mastering, as opposed to something layered.

This has come quite handy. I have been trying to increase comments on my site to get some search engine love.
