if its properly broken, then you will be luckily to get this working reliably again with a soldering iron, I have killed several PCBs myself in a very similar fashion.

it was 4 tracks coming off from the pci-e slot. relativley well spaced, so it could have been worse.

the first time in a long time I've actually had to go into a shop to sort out a pc thing
25 quid
abit steep but a new one cost 70.

nope, they did it.
Ran a stress test for and hour to get the temps up and its holding.

The chaps at the top of park street have the tools and know how to use them.
As i said  I think they charge a bit too much but I can't do PCB work so fair  paly to them.

do you have skills snoo?

Good to know, I'll bear you in mind when I next stick a screwdriver through my graphics card

an example of the scale of the work that was done

think you could have fixed a scratch through those 4 tracks?
