only just read about this technically, although i've noticed them in music before and wondered how you would go about creating the effect.

There's loads on it online! google is my friend as always...

here's a good example of the maths behind it, although the tones are a bit harsh!

yeah! ive read about this on Wikipedia before and started using them - its really simple.  Mario Brothers games were full of them - usually as you ran up stairs.

yeah i've read loads about it today... and its dead simple. I wanna try doing it with natural sounds but apparently its a lot harder.

Number 5 - phantom words... thats like track 1 on the Brown Album? Theory of the mobious, where time becomes a loop? (kind of)
