Alright Hijack Crew!
I just thought i'd post a little thread about the new courses we're offering for Producing with Ableton. First off I hope no one views this as spam as I genuinely feel that this might be of interest to the users of the producing section of the forum. Anyway we have a wide range of courses available, all of which can be seen here:
http://www.pointblankonline.net/courses/What I wanted to talk specifically about was our latest Ableton Course; Producing Minimal & Techno! This is a genre-specific course aimed at those producers with a certian degree of experience but are perhaps having some trouble getting their tracks up to the next level, we aim to ensure that those enrolled on the course learn how to produce Minimal and Tech House tracks to release quality. This Ableton course aims to guide you into becoming an extremely competent producer in just 4 weeks, teaching you how to create your own authentic drum sounds, synth patches, textures and effects. An experienced pro producer will be sharing his essential tips, tricks and techniques to give your tracks that professional sound.
Unique to our Ableton courses, you have the opportunity to upload your music each week for expert analysis and feedback on your work. So each week your pro producer tutor will go through your project in Ableton and create a 1-2-1 personalised video response, in which he will advise on what might be improved and how to change/tweak/develop any areas which may need it in order to create your desired sound.
We have students on this course who come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds and it is often the case that they do not always come away with making Minimal/techno tracks, due to the fact that all the skills and techniques taught can be applied accross genres. We don't wan't to pogeon hole your music, but to arm you with the knowledge, tools and techniques to create your music and your individual sound and achieve your full potential.
You can check out the full course details here:
