wanna start to write music using my computer, i got lots of apllications and f all knowlegdge on how they work, any one got any idea of anywhere in brissle that teaches such a thing??

My advice, get one application like reason and learn it inside out.
Then buy some music theory books.

one step ahead, ive got live wich im using to write in, which seems pretty easy, cubase is a none starter tho. heard good things about reason from friends who write hiphop tho

I went to college at a studio in Hengrove. Was ultra laid back when i started, cos it was only new. But now I think they have got it quite sorted. Access to Music it's called, and the course you would be interseted in is CMTT (Creating Music Through Technology). YOu get taught how to use all the kit, dj skills, MUSIC THEORY, programmming, etc...

They get funding through the government too so it's quite cheap, probs less than 200 for a year, unless you are under 19 in which case it's free.
