I started a project on a mate's computer (hence on his start-up template rather than mine)- I've transferred it back to my Macbook and all has worked fine until now, when I've tried to use automation- pressing 'A' only brings up the automation lanes for the two Audio tracks in the project, none of the MIDI channels will play ball. I've tried every variable I can think of, which isn't many, does anyone know what the issue might be?

It probably isn't this, but I've found that if I'm zoomed in on a track then I only see the automation for that track, not the whole project - so make sure Zoom isn't active (just press Z).

What are the MIDI channels assigned too - external MIDI or AUs?

Well blow me, it was exactly that! Nice one Dan; exiting Zoom mode has done the trick. Weird, as I've never had an issue with that before, but good to know for next time. Cheers for the tip-off.  Kiss

haha Whoop! Good news. Yeah it's a funny little niggle, but worth knowing it's there.

Wow! I never knew that about Logic?Huh I use Logic every now and again so I'm sure this will come in handy in future when I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what's going on!

Nice one.
