cheers diquan I was expecting it to suddenly turn into a banger! Tis a bit chilled for my tastes but then again I find it incredibly difficult to transpose the sound of a track on headphones or home speakers to how it will sound on a fat-arsed rig! Believe me Ed, this one delivers when played on a big rig!

oh.. haha, depending on what versions you have heard, yeah some of the beats are a little too manic I think, but I like em still and if Grimm is a culmination of Grime/dubstep/idm, then most of my tunes so far probably fall into this category. Is that so ...? You should contact the guys at Werk then mate. I know for a fact this whole Grim Dubs thing isn't going to end at number 4 ...

This party should be pretty special. And I've plenty fresh grim to drop... which volume of Grim Dubs is yours? It's Vol 1... the Monkeysteak tracks. Atki2's is the flip called 'Ruffting King' and it's griiiiiimy Oh yeah, right - he's one half of Monkey Steak - I remember now. That EP is wicked. Anyone know who all the others are by? Volume 4 track with the coughing samples is great. Well, I do know .... But I'm afraid that if I tell, the Werk lot will send the boys round my house to sort me out

and why not?
sam, if you played a mkf what name would you go under?
Gonna be in Sheffield the same night doing a Grim Dubs night with the Werk boys - sorry Saul, I know I'd be there otherwise Depends - either as Atki2 or Monkey Steak (which is with my pal Hanuman). Up to you, cos I'd play different music accordingly: gutter grime or squonkcore respectively

do enjoy Toxic ... Really liked the eclectism of this one - good mix of stuff. Again, dj c and spectre were probably the highlights but dddx3 had his moments and there was some fine grime courtesy of uberdog and bruna eariler in the evening. shame I was just a bit too out of it by the time devnull started - things got a bit hazy at that point.
Shouts out to the Toxic Kru and roll on 8th October...!

Next one of these on 16th April... Live set from Gusset plus more special guests. Look out for further details coming soon...
