It's not difficult to just not drop your cannister or balloon on the floor .

i don't think its the difficulty of the task thats the problem, its the combination of ensuring you dispose of your litter responsibly and being off your face thats the problem.

oh man, the term Physical Graffiti springs to mind.

I do find her a bit annoying, but then on balance not as annoying as say being unemployable and homelss so in that respect why not let the old girl make a few bob where she can.

yeah the only other point that occurs to me is although people on this website may be open and willing to participate in a dialog with Narroways - my thought is how many people that frequent the parties there are actually on here?

I suspect not many so the views on this website imo are unlikely to be a fiar representaion of those of the general partying massive.

Of those about 0 bother to come to talk to Narroways group about the problems caused.
Confirming our fears that the Bristol dance/rave/part 'community' are just a bunch of self-centred hedonists.

As a resident of St Werburghs Park, regular user of narroways - jogging there several times a week and reveller at St Werburghs fesitval party I find it slightly irritating you telling me the reason I didn't bother attending was because I am a self centered hedonist.

I would gladly take you up on your offer of a meeting at another time. But as I dont run any sound systems and only go there for the party in reality what could i do to change things?

Can't really add much to what Feedback said other than I think your organisations approach is really great and if theres anything that can be done to help please come back here and ask  Wink

Its a long read but this story has fascinated me for years http://www.winthrop.dk/chimp.html

Quote
Henderson Island is an uninhabited raised reef island, which is the largest island in the Pitcairn Island group. It is 9.6 km long by 5.1 km wide with an area of 36 square km.

Henderson Island was the site of a modern castaway story in 1957 - one of the marooned seamen was a chimpanzee!

enjoy!
5715  General / The Forum / Re: Clifton family spray piss on road to find missing dog... on: July 10, 2009, 11:36:02
^^^ I absolutly agree its different. I was caught punished and learnt my lesson.

I still think its wrong to spray your piss everywhere benefit from publicity and not have any attention drawn to the slightly unsavoury nature of your action - more of a criticism of the council then the family.

anyway i dont want to get to heated debate about piss on a friday so lets stop calling each other names and just hope they get their mutt back. deal? Two Thumbs

5716  General / The Forum / Re: Clifton family spray piss on road to find missing dog... on: July 10, 2009, 11:01:33
It's not even similar.

they were spraying their urine on the streets. clearly if everytime a dog is lost we cannot have people spraying urine on the streets.

i've no probelm with people doing what they see fit to get back a loved pet.

I do have a problem with the council turing a blind eye to people spraying urine around the city. I did and was punished. fine. they do it and nothing happens.

tbf we dont know what has been said behind closed doors.
5717  General / The Forum / Re: guide dogs on: July 10, 2009, 10:19:36
^ okay well I stand corrected on that one. so what about when police horses foul on the street?
5718  General / The Forum / Re: Clifton family spray piss on road to find missing dog... on: July 10, 2009, 10:14:34

Why arent these guys being done with public urination?

Because they haven't urinated in public.

so is it legal to walk around with a leaking cathetar? - im just incredibly bitter i got an 80 fine for pissing and these guys - differeant circumstances granted - get off with nothing other than national ridicule.

As someone that recently aqquired a Sec.5 public order and an 80 note fine for public urination i have some objections.

When i was done they dsaid they objected to seeing my pecker, clearly there was no way  they could see it as i was pointed to a wall behind a small electrical junction box of some sort. yet they (PC4548 - Westlake) still hooked me up on it.

Why arent these guys being done with public urination?

Also what world are they living in? if you can't look after your dog properly you shouldnt have one. How the hell can you loose a dog? clearly the dog does not respect them as a pack and decided killing them was unfeasable // not worth the effort so decided to start a new pack for itself.

they already htink they rule the air be breath on, now their spraying their piss on the street and 'the council and police turn a blind eye.

It is these poeple i hate. the ones that dont even realise they're doing something wrong, i hate that more than a hoodie going a muggin' - at least they get some respect.

right better go to work.   see y'all  Cheesy

5731  General / The Forum / Re: guide dogs on: July 09, 2009, 16:12:37
actually they are kept regular by their feeding times - this is the why you rarely see them out at dawn or dusk. Also day walkers are not legally obliged to pick up their dogs mess if they do foul - just as horse riders are not required to pick up their horses mess.

5733  General / The Forum / Re: FAO Cherry and everyone else actually: If a tree falls on: July 09, 2009, 14:54:14
I've always seen the tree falling question as more of, 'if something happens and there are no witnesses to such event, can this event actually be said to have happened?'

its not actually the same as that because your pre-supposing the event with a factual statemet "If something happens" so its already happened.

Battenburg?

a couple years ago i spent New years in a town outside of Frankfurt called Bad Homburg. I made it a point to ask everyone i met if they knew what a Battenburg cake was as I naturally assumed it originated in the same place - noone knew of the cake.

Upon my arrival back in the UK I discovered that the only connection between the two is the pronunciation.
