thanks for all your positive comments about our work at Hamilton House

i'm working there setting up the internet connection ( provided by the ever wonderful bristolwireless.net )
and am loosely involved with some of the management of the building.

We are sorting out music studio space in there shortly but also have artists studios and more conventional office
space , we dont really have a price list because there are many different size spaces and there are some discounts

as regards the homeless situation , the building is owned by C&C who work with the council to house
homeless people , the building itself is not suitable for housing people as its office space.  We have
tried to be as friendly as possible with the homeless people who live outside. Given that our mission is
to engage the community we didn't want to just shove them on like everyone else has , to this end
have a look at the selfharmony.org project which is trying to help make reconnect homeless people
with the rest of society and has held several successful sleep out events

In a month or so we should have the cafe open and a full licence for the venue upstairs so keep an eye
out for more events , especially our grand opening which is going to be amazing !!!

Hi All ,

Its great to see such a lively scene and such a busy board , i've just moved to bristol from bath. am into all sorts of electronic music and like to play about with it myself a bit when i find the time

I like to get involved with music and help make things happen , one of these things is streaming audio over the internet from live performances
so that people can tune in to find out whats happening. If anyone putting on a night is interested in i can do this for a couple of tickets
