rodney mullen dosnt need to pull of his sick moves at stupid heights to impress people!  Pimp

im not dissing parkour [much] just seems like some gymnastics performered in the street maybe if they approached it in a different way, and didnt make it so arty farty i would have liked it better. Real gymnastics is better to watch tho :p especially when they fuck themselves up.  Smashed

dude check out the links i posted up in this thread. both the iriver and iaudio players have line in and out, and i think 1 of them comes with a mic for recording.

http://eng.iaudio.com/ check out a player there called the M3 its alot better than the ipod and there are 2 versions a 20 gig and a 40 gig im pretty sure this comes with a mic.

http://www.iriver.com/eu/index.asp iriver make the best hdd players you can buy, they support every audio file type, and can even read winamp play lists aswel and i think this has a mic aswell.

with both of these players you record straight to mp3 and you can select what bire rate teh data is encoded.

im torn between the m3 because it looks so sexy, but the iriver has more features. The M3 is also alot smaller and thiner than an Ipod.

hope these links have helped.

http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/ check out this website it has every hdd play you can buy and liek i siade b4 it has indepth describtion and loads of reviews and readers reviews of tehg products. It also sells really good ear buds to.

i dont like ipod because they use a compressed file type. and you have to use itunes. im really thinking about getting the new iriver player with my next student loan  Slayer it supports aif, wav and even ogg it also lets you read txt documents. read the links i posted earlier. Every hdd play that is out is on that site, which a really indepth review, explains all teh features and has loads of public comments. The i river and iaudio players also have very good eq and dsp functions in them. I almost forget this both the irivier and iaudio have line in and out so you can record your mixes or what ever. im pretty sure the ipod cant do that.
262  General / The Forum / Re: Did anyone watch Jump Britain? on: January 07, 2005, 16:16:34
yeah it was ok, i didnt really like all the philosiphy, they were sounding like they were some kinda of kung fu masters or something. Respect for having the guts and strength to do that. But to me it seems like an extreme sport for failed skaterboards, bmxers ect.

LoL at the cheap tony hawks parkor [what the fucks up with the name anyway] game they are making.

2 things that bugged me 1. Cowboy hat guy, you sir need to get some style. 2. what was the deal with all the chinese writing next to there logo, i thought this was invented by the french!

The way it was shot and over stylized made it seem like pretentious bollox to me.

what are the odds in the following weeks theres a news story about some kid being killed cuz he tried to copy what he saw    Tomato Bad Teeth

dude check here http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/, they have every mp3 player you can buy. I think iriver is wheer its at, only reason ipods r so popular is cuz of apples marketing. iriver and iaudio mp3 player are the shit. Im torn between http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=72&usersessid=8d81ef012552ec1179c1afd3c41a11d1 and this http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=216&usersessid=8d81ef012552ec1179c1afd3c41a11d1but in a 40 gig model.

hope this has helped. both these players support pc and mac, and play every file type. The Ipod is just an over hyped fashion accesoy

282  General / The Forum / Re: fucking bad press on: January 01, 2005, 15:41:56
having a rant in a public forum isnt very professinal, and this is about business at the end of the day. Its shit that you couldnt get in, and im guessing you werent the only ones. But threatening all the things you have makes you seem quite immature, maybe you should have approached this in another way, like emailing them. Then maybe they could have given you some sort of compensation like free entry or free drinks next time you go down. Talking shit on a forum just isnt how these things are done   Tut Tut
283  General / The Forum / Re: Effects of the tsunami in Asia :| on: December 31, 2004, 18:32:24
This has to be the single largest disaster that has happened in my life time. right now:
124,000 confirmed dead
Low fuel supplies hinder aid efforts
Global donations reach 259m

Its very sad that so many people had to lose there lifes so that the world would come together and help each other in this time of lose. This is the easiest part of the whole thing, people are going to have to deal with there loses, and rebuild their lifes [or try to] and its not like these places have alot of money to throw around. Its going to take years and for everyone caught up in this, things will never be the same again. Makes me sad to think we would spend trillions pounds on weapons and other ways to end live, instead of using that money and those resources to to help these people considering that every western nation has had someone die in this tradidgy.

My thougths and love go out to the millions of people this disaster has touched. [i dont even begin to pretend i know what you are going through]

287  General / The Forum / what is a good night to go out in bristol and where? on: December 24, 2004, 18:48:59
hey, i have just finished my first term at bath spa. Bath is cool but there dosnt seem to be any cool club nights that play good music. The best one I have been to is "Drive By",  had a really good time that night.

Me and my mates want to explore bristol next term where do you recommend we check out, we want drum and bass, electronica and no cheesy hiphop.

cheers
