2  General / The Forum / The Burial LP on: July 28, 2006, 14:26:20
I have been digging this cd since it came out, its deep on so many levels from the grimey bass lines to the subtle vinyl pops and hisses.

Is anyone else feeling this?

I have been lucky enough to catch some big dubstep nights down in london at plastic people and herbal, ita a real shame the music scene in Bath is so shit and nristol is a bitch to get to. We need a night train Sad
3  General / The Forum / Re: UWE vs Bath Spa!? on: April 29, 2006, 11:54:26
im in my second year doing CMT its very cool and has helped me get some work in london! But i bet you will be at a partner college for the first year because you live very close!!! thats the only downside. You dont get the university feeling if you know what i mean. There will be like 20 guys in your class. But it is worth it if thats what you like doing.

8  General / The Forum / americas new partnership with india... on: March 03, 2006, 14:53:10
OK i know this isnt a big deal but i have just read something on the bbc new website which annoyed me.

G.W Bush "Both our nations were created on the foundation that all people are equal".

Thats crazy talk.

Doesnt India still work on a cast system, and the USA foundation is in slaveray and the stealing of native american land!?!

I just think its bullshit that he can say such shit and people in the powerful places in the world eat it up and ask for seconds Doh!

i enjoyed watching distraught men standing around a little stand in ASDA deciding on what to get there lovers, you know that scene in ZOO LANDER when they are bashing the apple mac or in space odysse 2001 when the apes are killing eachother.... it brought a tear to my eye

LMFAO, WHAT ASDA? I MAY OF BEEN ONE OF THEM!

you know the one near temple meads it was in there
14  General / The Forum / Re: thinking of getting a cat on: February 15, 2006, 14:01:41
no

It is the Fel d 1 substance, produced in the sebaceous glands of the cat's skin and in cat saliva, which is believed to be the major allergen that most people who are allergic to domestic cats are actually reacting to. The dander (old skin cells) which animals shed constantly into the environment, are tiny micron-like particles that cling to furniture, draperies and wall coverings, and can cause problems for allergic people. The Fel d 1 airborne particles are the same size as bronchial medication droplets designed to penetrate into bronchial membranes...so, no wonder cat allergy can lead to asthma!! And, Fel d 1 (short for "Felis domesticus, i.e., the domestic house cat), which comes from the fatty secretions called sebum, can live for months or even years even after the cat is removed from the environment. Interestingly, female cats shed substantially LESS amounts of allergen than males, and a neutered male sheds significantly less than a full male tom. Other recent studies have shown that, regardless of the breed or sex of the cat, far more people have allergic reactions to darkly colored and pigmented cats versus lighter colored cats with less pigment.

15  General / The Forum / Re: thinking of getting a cat on: February 15, 2006, 13:56:49
mosgt people are allergic to a cats dander. I think its the cats dried saliva which has smaller particles than dust so they dispuse in the aor alot more causing them to get everywhere and making some people allergic

Thats like saying would you vote for a black PM, its irrelevant. Gender, race, sexuality and religion mean nothing. What matters  is what the person stands for and what they can achieve.

40  Food for your Ears / The Desk / Re: What sequencer are you using these days? on: January 16, 2006, 15:41:58
does it really matter, different programs for different things, I dont know why people say logic is the best. Logic is just as good as everything else its just advertised more. Its a bitch to get automation done with it and assigning midi controllers is a bitch as well. Cubase sx3 and albeton for the creative stage, protools for the production.

I guess people use logic because it is a complete package, but there are alot better pieces of software out there like the NI samplers. But hey use what ever you like to make music.

this is always like the mac pc debate point less  Doh!
