General / The Forum / fun things to do in europe that don't involve getting fucked

me and a few friends are interailing to sziget festival in budapest this summer and as the festival itself will be pretty messy i'm looking for a few things to do on the way which don't involve waking up and feeling like a pigs shat in your head. we're starting off in amsterdam then heading down to budapest. Current ideas include going wildcamping in slovenia, but if anyones got any ideas or know any cool places in that area, that'd be awesome.

i felt this year didn't quite match up to last year, i felt they'd spent less time on the small details which made last year so great. The woods was shit compared with the bicycle monsters last time and i thought there was way way too much dubstep. sauna and steam room were a personal highlight as well as pub quiz at the wonky cock. Congo Nattys set however was completely shit

Missed this thread - this looks good.
I would have liked the Grey Album if JayZ was not on it lol
seriously this has been one of my favourite albums since i downloaded it. I much prefer it to the grey album. Bizarre is probably my favourite tune but i've listened to the whole album a huge amount of times

Barcelona. One hell of a city.
Blates. Maybe not a world away from Lisbon but always worth checking out. Riga, in Latvia, looked pretty cool but I've no first hand information for you. yeh riga is being considered, looks like an awesome place don't think barcelona this time as we want something a bit different but it's definitely a place i want to go to soon

Glad to hear that the positive feedback.
It was really nice to put on something from a very different genre of dance music. Yes parties such as STB! do help us pay the bills, but we are well aware that we cant do nights like these every week - and saturate our own market.
I personally thought all the sets were amazing, and was really happy with how it all went - especially considering half of Moderat's equipment only turned up from the airport 30 mins before doors opened - and we still managed to pull it all off somehow.
It was a great end to what, for us, has been an amazing run of shows. Massive big-ups to everyone who has come down and showed us support, we've really appreciated it and it has kept us going through what has been an incredibly long 3 months.
Big love x
was much happier when everyone was saying it was shit

this was the best line-up i've seen all year in bristol and i didn't go because my friend was being a flakey cunt. have to say i am quite pleased it wasn't up to scratch as would be absolutely kicking myself if it had been. How was siriusmo? i think his music is amazing
