Did any ladies manage to sit through this without developing an enourmous crush on Joanie? Also amazing skills, pioneering technology etc for the geeks, who were out in full force.

In a slightly related matter, did anyone see that Matt Pritchard got stabbed trying to intervene in some trouble in a Budgens? Good old Norfolk hospitality.
Yeah, as if Dereham hasn't got enough bad things going for it. Bellends

If anyone fancies a road trip to Norwich, there's a big rollerskating rink there, I went back recently to see the folks, and went along to see how much it'd changed since I was a kid...EXACTLY the same, even down to the tunes...Gangsters Paradise + 2Unlimited all the way Is it still called Funky Monkeys?

I'm on a five year course, and I started it after top up fees came in, my student debts are going to add up to about £35k by the time I finish Seems perfectly reasonable. After all, there's plenty of good jobs for graduates I'm studying medicine so unless the government completely shit all over the NHS in the next few years I should be ok

I never buy any food at festivals because with my apetite i'd need to spend £30/day to be satisfied...
My top tip which never fails me is those sachets of pre cooked microwave rice, all you gotta do is fry up some veg, ginger and chilli then bang a scahet in and a bit of water/soy and you're sorted meal for 2..

Room available in our lovely house in Bishopston, near the golden lion. Sunny garden, vegetable patch, two cats, large kitchen, open fire etc... Sharing with a medical student, a web designer a physio and a lovely bar lady, all in our twenties. Room is big & light (south facing with a big window) but unfurnished, so you need your own shizzle. Quite a chilled out wholesome house, we prefer baking bread to ketamine. Rent is £285 a month plus council tax & bills. Get in touch if you're interested

Argh! Lent someone my brand new tent to take to this, it better not get fucked! They will owe you a tent I r staying at a mates place in Winchester on Thursday now...yes I am a pussy but I was AT the Hell On Earth Homelands in 2000 and I aint never repeating that experience ever again! Arriving on site at about 2ish but getting picked up at 6pm to see my old uni housemate who lives in Winchester I aint seen in 4 years...not passing up the chance...would be silly.
Just dont camp at the base of the hills or at the bottom of the camping. Up the top would be best, but if people talk of drainage being added then who knows...it has been 9years since my worst night of my life experience. AND you can escape to your own tent which was the prob at HL...nowhere to escape to. Worst night of his life, Matterley Bowl I can see the appeal of this Schadenfreude ting now I do not understand what possesed them to have a UK festival in a bowl. bowl = empty lake EDIT: it's because they got tons of noise complaints in the old site and the council made them make it quieter and quieter each year, and shut earlier each night. 2 years ago its the wetest festival ive ever been to! It was actually hilarious. So flooded no-one could leave or arrive. Ive never seen so much water than that year. Mine was the last vehicle allowed off site beofre they shut in down, it was like driving in the middle of a river, . Got back to Bristol and went back the next day and Ive never seen so many people lookng like they had been underwater for 24 hours. It can't possible be worse than 07...can it...?!
