It is a union official's job to argue for the complete protection of all employee benefits, just as it is a Tory minister's job to be a ruthless cunt whose aim is the decimation of the public sector while persuading the wider public that this is necessary because "we are all in this together".

103  General / The Forum / Re: So my people are going on strike next weds on: November 25, 2011, 14:23:51
IMO striking for one day will never achieve anything, if you want to strike to change something specific then you need to stay on strike until that thing is changed, or you will get nowhere.

I used to do complaints for a large wine company.  I can't remember any specific instances but you'd get the most bullshit complaints.  Like someone would stick a rusty nail from their back garden in a bottle and send it back.  The seal was always broken, and you'd be an idiot to miss a rusty nail in a bottle of white wine even if we were in the habit of keeping them on our production lines.

Wold has a great wine complaint/blagging free booze routine Grin

In the north - Pai is lovely, very chilled out nice place to lie in a hammock for a week and also very nice cakes...
In the south - Ko Lipe, miniscule island in Tarutao national park, absolutely stunning place, locals are extremely friendly, one of my most favourite places in Thailand
If you've got time the south of Laos is pretty nice, don't bother with the north unless you're a fan of getting really smashed with loads of gap yah crew.

There time is up and the naughty ones have to leave!
For the sake of argument can you define "naughty" please?

The ones without planning permission, I'd imagine.
I do assume that.

Quick poll; who can honestly say that they have never done anything illegal or unlawful?

Yeah but if I was caught I'd say fair enough and accept the punishment rather than making out I was right all along...jus sayin...
