General / The Exchange / Panasonic Technics SL-1210MK5 Turntable (superb original condition / boxed)
|
on: July 07, 2015, 20:51:07
|
I've got a pair of SL-1210MK5's that I'm finally finally finally letting go of. It's time. Putting them through Gumtree and ebay but will consider a slightly reduced price for a hijacker.
Both decks are in superb condition. I have owned them from new and could count on two hands how many times these have been used, in fact, they’ve rarely been out of the box. Bought in the hope that I would progress but the time isn't there. It’s for this reason that these absolutely legendary decks must find a new more appreciative owner, especially given that you can no longer buy them new.
In their original boxes, full working order. Amazing condition.
Including :
• Technics SL-1210MK5 Turntable • Original dust cover • Original 45 adapter • Original rubber and felt slip mats • Original Auxiliary weight • Original box and packaging
If you are local to Bristol I’m willing to deliver them to you for no extra charge.
Can send pictures. Also happy for you to pop in to take a look if you need convincing that these are in such good condition, get in touch.
Serious offers only.

"I'm here without an invite, giving you and insight, on how the fuck I live life." Split Prophets - Drop of Poison
"I love to fly. It's just you alone, with peace and quiet and nothing around you but the clear blue sky. The only bad part about flying is having to come down to the fucking world." Raindog - Beyond Their Years

Completely mental. BBC telly were in touch this morning to try and send a crew over from the anti-fracking protest to get a segment for the lunchtime news. Definitely got their priorities straight!

"I can't believe this happens in 2013 but there you go" or gtfo
"He's definetely stolen less than 100 items" Hobo, surely Points West will be all over this motherfucker? They have my details and I know they were knocking on doors in the area on Friday but I've not had any direct contact.

I've got a news syndicate over this lunch because the nationals want in! Plus, we've met a load of the neighbours, returned some of his swag and arranged drinks with the victims.

I thought it was a lovely, sweet homage and got the idea that it was written by a short-time resident and would resonate with other people who have adopted Bristol as their home. I've lived in Bristol coming up 32 years and have lived (and now home-owned) all over and I still liked it, it's nice to see how others see the city? non?
I agree.

what you need is a dyslexic charity shop so you can pick up a three piece suit.
I didn't know that charity shops for dyslexic people like me existed. I can finally shop in peace without fear of my spelling being criticised. Hooray!

We use a chap called Jamie who is pretty much the only contractor we've dealt with who does a proper job, on time, at the right price and he's a bloody nice chap.
Will PM you his number now.

I still smoke, but have cut down to the point of not smoking as much, almost nothing. I've smoked for 19 years and I don't suffer from the issues people have reported here or the general stoner stereotype. I find that recently that my body doesn't like it, my mind is barely effected by it and I'd rather have a mellower high, but that isn't really available as most growers seem to want to have only the strongest.
I've never had a problem with paranoia, networking or creativity and some of my most creative and socially involved parts of my life were when I smoked heavily.
I've had periods of not smoking and it has zero effect on how my life is. I suspect most of the associated effects come from social expectation, associates and the age you are.

Is it even necessary? You'll presumably be judged on the strength of the work.
Especially if you're struggling to work out what to write.

Artificial life of the future won't be mechanical... think bio robots. The lines between human and robot / A.I. will be very much blurred.
Maybe.

I've done a fair old chunk of work in a freelance / studio employed fashion and never had a problem showing it in my portfolio.
Have they specified that you can't use it or have you made an assumption.
If it definitely can't go in a public portfolio then maybe include it in a pdf portfolio that can be sent directly to prospective employers to avoid it being in the public domain.

We head up here for our Christmas works do and it was really well set-up. There's a range of different hides to shoot from including a rabbit shoot where the clays are shot along the ground. The old boy we had taking us around was brilliant 'n all. Yeah we had a proper old West Country chap who was a butcher during the week and banged on about rabbit and cider pies. He was great. That rabbit-along-the-ground shot is an absolute bastard though. He didn't shoot for the first few hides he took us on but on the overhead tree shot (one of the hardest) he took out 4 clays in a row... from the hip. BAD. ASS. He didn't take any shit either... if you let one go... "FUCK ABOUT!! Get up to him". Brilliant all round.
