54  General / The Forum / Re: Current members 2008 - All about you..Post here!! on: June 22, 2009, 01:49:15
Dear all,

The thing is I can't tell if the Thatcher thread is another wind up thread or a real one The joke threads are usually pretty easy spot which makes me think this is actually what you believe.

Wanting someone to die is bang out of order and genuinly offensive. I've always said if your making a joke fine - but it seems this is actually what you believe. Which is fucked. Learn the lessons and move on. i don't care ebaout thatcher because like Feedback I was to young and TBH it really doesnt e/affect me.

Anyway rather than argue the point away from my point of view it better to just walk away. Which is why I am handing in my Forum resignation letter. And its not just because of Typo and Feedback. The way the Mods behaved - Obcore & Hooty was bang out of order - look at what you were saying. Disgusting.

Personally I can't believe it but an argument over Thatcher of all things is the tipping point. For a long time i've not had a particular reason to be on here other than it was fun. But the attitudes expressed within that thread make me feel otherwise and tbh the world is a sour enough place as it is without moral cowards blowing out the candles.

So long and thanks for all the lolz.

So the guy preaching hate is the champion? coming straight from the people who others are meant to look up to?

I formally announce my retirement from Hijack. It's been great fun and there are some great charecters on here. But it is clear this is not the right place for my thoughts, musings and perrishingly articulate wit.

Goodbye.

^ a few lines of unsourced random internet jitter is all i need. Brown has proved to be a tard as chancellor and Prime Minister but i wouldn't go around wishing death on him. fcuk that.

^ jeez, why do people hate her so much? granted i wasn't there so have only learnt about her through the media which i don't really trust. Was she really as bad as people say? It scares me to think what the alternatives were like if everyone kept voting for her.

I'm not a believer in roasting newbies but Typowriter came on strong with some emotive stuff. you cannot go around saying that sort of stuff without being challenegd. at least not in my wold.

If your going to be an annoying sick fuck and joke about someone death than can you at least be funny or interesting.

In most other cases I'd agree with you, but not this one. She caused enough pain.

Wishing for anyone to die is bang out IMO... Tut Tut

Bloody kids  Roll Eyes

Really?

I know she's not exactly the most charming of characters and has made her fair share of mistakes, just seems a bit wrong to wish that someone would die. Surely the feelings and impact on her of her family and friends would be something to consider before making such a wish?

Script Well said. But its not just that De-Fi its shear basic bloody human desency. It's one thing making a bad joke that goes a bit to far its another thing actually wishing there  dead. As a regular contributor to this community I am for the first time genuinly disgusted by the threads opening content and find the authors choice of topic and words not only insolent but abhorrent, distasteful and offensive.

I would click the report to mod button but seeing as nothing will be done about it can't be arsed.

For you, moving to Mac solved the problem. But this was not just a change of OS, but a complete change of hardware. Which is mad, considering that you may indeed have only needed a newer driver for your USB controller.

She had the right idea about sponging single mums TBH.
Explain yourself young man.

She didn't give any benefits to single mums. Had the policy been kept it would have staved off the hoards of, quite frankly, disgusting, fat single mums who live on the premise that the more children they have from various fathers the more money they will get.

Don't be so harsh. We need breeders to take up from the gulf left by woman decision to abandond her role as keeper of the house and seek parity with man in the workplace. If women want to be treated equal to men than single mothers with lots of scroats robbing people is unfortuantly the price we have do pay.

Nice how if you don't pay your taxes they can screw you right over. MP's nick money out of the revenue and all they get is that it is "highly unlikely MPs would be prosecuted"

One set of rules for us, another for them...

you've kinda of missed the point. They mostly didn't really break the rules, they did however invent the rules.

I sort of get what you mean, they might not have explicitly broken the same rule as not paying taxes, however in my opinion it's the same as stealing to abuse the systems put in place to regulate their expenditure even if it isn't covered by criminal law.

i hear you. it was the fact they even did it. To think that was acceptable behaviour regardless of wheather the rules allowed it or not. We look upon Iran and think 'yeah that AmidinnerJad guy is a nuttter i hope they protest and have [another] revolution there' but when the same shit is happening over here it just sells a few papers and a dozen people walk quitly to the side. It fucking stinks and is an outrageous state of affairs. Apology not accepted. General election  NOW  BRRRAAAAP

when the new Red Camera comes on to the market, film making will change forever. Previously budget films will become high spec HD masterpieces with film quality equalling the most expensive hollywood block busters.

all thats left is your imagination... frankly, i can't wait!

http://www.red.com/cameras/

up to 120 fps  Eek

You've been framed is going to look snazzy as hell

You'd need to get 57 videos shown to cover the cost of the camera and lens though!  Shocked

unless you were able to write them off as business expenses and claim the VAT back in which case you'd only need 48 videos.

Why is Supercritical CO2 less commonly used then?
93  General / The Forum / Without looking it up what is your understanding of how Dry cleaning works? on: June 19, 2009, 10:12:16
Well it can't use anything wet because wet things dont tend to be dry. The only thing it can surley be is heat and pressure and possibly a high spin cycle. Similar to a salad spinnner, but a salad spinner relies on their being water in there.

I actually have no idea. Maybe it sprays it with some sort of chemical smoke, but then how to they clean Duvets?
94  General / The Forum / Waking up in hospital with clonidine poisoning and penis trauma... on: June 18, 2009, 21:49:48
...It can only be the Russian Spider Raper ...

Quote
A young Russian woman, a devoted collector of horror films and spiders, is on trial for sedating and raping ten men.

The police were shocked that 32-year-old Valeria K., a quiet good-looking woman from the city of Tambov, was the mysterious rapist who abused ten local men after poisoning them with clonidine, Life.ru reports.

Valeria, who has already been nicknamed the Black Widow for her love of spiders, would get acquainted with men and invite them to her place.

She gave them drinks with clonidine, which almost immediately sent them to sleep for almost 24 hours.

After that, she undressed her victims and raped them, tightening a rope on their male organs to kep them erect.

Waking up in hospital with clonidine poisoning and penis trauma, all the victims could remember was a friendly brunette who gave them drinks.

Finally, local police identified the offender and arrested her.

At present, the police know about ten of Valeria’s victims, although one of them refused to file a complaint against her.

“It was great,” the unnamed man said.

“I like hot women. I only wish she hadn't use the clonidine on me.”

they have such areas. they're called bill boards and companies like Clear Channel sell them for lots of money.

I agree its a good idea but then why should only nights be allowed to advertise in them? why not charities, community projects, other local business?

And even if you did have them / spaces the only people using them would be those who managed to get a space and everyone else or anywhere else in the city you'd still get fly postering. Your best bet is blu tac and respects other people's posters. fly postering is always gonna be here.
