of course their is an argument that some wage push inflation is precisly what we need to offset the threat of an Omnipitant Chattled Period of Stagnent Fiscally Recursive Macro Push Deflation (OCPSFRMPD - Ok-Pus-Frum-Pu-Dah)

^ a moving and accurate and moving response their Tekton. And i agree with you. What has been not said that should be said is the role of the unions in all this.

It is the unions moving for the rise. not the workers.

The workers joined the union.

True, but unions do many good things other than negotiate unreasonable pay rises. I would point this as one aspect of unions that is bad - i can thing of a least 5 things they are very good for - including cheap car insurance. i still blame the unions not the workers.

Someone told me today that a SITA bin man earns more than an entry level police man! WTF!?

I bet if all the unskilled unemployed people out there would jump at the chance to do this job at 1% pay rise!!

There are a lot of jobs out there that require little or no skill. Being a bin man imo is not one. I imagine its bloody hard work. Also I suspect a union is behind this - i imagine most of the bin men would be happy with 3% if truths told - i base this on nothing tho.

End of the day they have mouths to feed and christmass is comming and something tells me its going to be a long cold winter. as much as i am upset at not having my bins cleaned fair play. screw the man for what you can. just don't be a cnut about it.

Called the council today. I didn't fill in the online form properly so no vote  Doh! the thing is, if I did have a vote I probably would have voted for UKIP - even though Browns Government is imploding as we speak  Cheesy (I bet Darling resigns tomorrow morning) - as a protest vote.

So I think is probably best i didn't have a vote as I don't want UKIP to win.  Huh

of course Goldenballs is on top form...as ever

I don't understand this overwhelming urge some people have to try and come up with the sickest jokes when something tragic happens.

To a certain extent  Script But, When something bad happens I see no problem with funny joke (which might be sick) as long as it is actually is funny. But just being gross for the sake of it is rarely amusing. I was thinking about one that involved them not having wheel chair access to the beach but decided against posting it as unlike most of you I always ensure ALL my posts are of exceptionally high standard in terms of wit, humour and perishingly savage satirical integirty - fact - also it was not funnay and just nasty.

its all about respect you see. IMHAHO you can't respect yourself if you can't respect others. We're living in a small world and theres not enough room for the haters.

I think 2PAC said it best

the problem with rss (at least on google reader) is that it tries to offer everything, whan all you want is the title and a link. rss is for people who are deluding themselves that they can digest the whole datacloud.
twitters much better imo
so yeh nice one...

soz, i dont get it, I subscribe to the Hijack RSS. whats the differeance between that and the Twitter? the RSS only gives me the thread titles anyway unless I tap into it???
