We try and keep entry prices low - with discount for Students and NHS staff - We also try to give DJ's at least 2 hours per set. PLUS free glow sticks for all ravers. Hope some of you are electro fans and come check us out. It was a sandwich of fun, on ecstasy bread, wrapped up in a big bag like DISCO FUDGE. It doesn't get much better than that.

Hey Dudes/Dudettes/Ravers: I've Been running my own club nights in London this year and am moving back to Bristol soon. A such I want to continue the night upon moving. The musical inspiration is 2manydjs, Erol Alkan, Fake Blood, Tiga, Todd Terje, Justin Robertson, Andrew Weatherall, Daniel Avery, Bugged Out, Ed Banger etc. I'm looking for a likeminded person(s) who wants to go in half with me. I.e. someone who can act as a resident DJ, be willing to put in half of any initial costs and act as joint promoter with myself. Musical tastes must be similar as I want somebody as passionate about this as me. Must also be willing to put in the work as well as commit financially. Hey dudes, dudettes, Ravers
I'm newish to Bristol, I moved here from Aberdeen, NE Scotland in late 2011.
I'm not big on slagging off other musical genre's, after all it is just sounds after all. I can't tell someone the sound they're listening to is the wrong one!
However, my preferred genre is electro/electro house. Think Boys Noize, Erol Alkan, Crookers, Zombie Nation, Proxy, Mumbai Science etc etc. As I'm sure you're all aware (or please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) there does not seem to be much to cater for this in Brizzle. Although I have discovered Bath has a bit more.
As such I am at the early stages of trying to organise a club night to cater for this in the area. I've never done anything like this so its all new to me. Obviously in an ideal world I would be on the line up. Unfortunately up until very very recently the only DJ-ing I had done had been of the midi decks/sync button nature. I just upgraded to CDJ's and am still getting to grips with them.
I've found a venue to host such a night, at a decent rate and would be looking at running it on a weeknight to hit the student market. The main thing I'm lacking at the moment is DJ's who would like to play this kind of stuff. I can't offer any money. And I'm not doing this with the idea of making money. Its more a labour of love, I just want to make people happy and dance. If I break even I'd be happy.
If you think you may be able to contribute, be it as a DJ or anything else towards this night please give me a shout.
Keep Ravin'
