WOW! Best night we've ever done!! The vibe was ridiculous last night- smiles and silly costumes all round! Big up to everyone that came and made the night what it was. Shouts to to many people but special shouts to all dj's, mc's and people who made the effort- Firstly and foremost the steve Irwins, the octopus, gorilla, dragon, Ali G, the crew of pirates, Toadfish from neighbours, oodles o noodles (also neighbours) , a pile of mess (don't ask), the dancing bear, the dj'ing tiger, the gay cowboy, the zookeepers, spider man, the china doll and any others i missed, it was too funny! The party room was going off last night and was busier during Powdermonkey's tv themes tunes set than the main room! Was a pure pleasure promoting last night and I feel that we finally got the Penguin Dance vibe we've been aiming for since the beginning. Expect more of this.... Did anyone manage to get any of the mini penguins or lemurs last night? I knew they'd get robbed but it was worth it just to see people raving with inflatable animals in their hands, again too funny. Also, I know its not everyone's cup of tea but seeing Herbzie Shortston AND Foxy b2b was a bit of a treat. Roll on Funky Flirt and Five-o with super special old skool vibes in room 2. Expect lots of UV, whistles, glowsticks and maybe a horn or 2!

I know it's ridiculously late notice but we need a dj for tonight at Timbuk2! We've had a little problem and need a dj to play 10-11 (or 11.30 if they want) in room2.
we had a hip hop dj lined up for this but due to unforseen circumstances he can't play. We want any style really but hip hop/ funk/ dubstep/ breaks would be preferred.
Any takers?

Hmm, 'tis a toughie
Busta Rhymes - he'd kill it in Bristol Roots Manuva Doing a HEAVY DUB SET, not one of his lame gigs - how many times do I have to ask?! RZA Ghostface Killah (why the f-ck did he go to Brighton) MF Doom Fanu (trippy dnb from Finland) DJ Krush The Three Tenors Amon Tobin The guy who plays Karl Kennedy in Neighbours. Kylie Mynogue Madonna so I can throw pigs at her, silly b-tch. Method Man Kool Keith starting with an Ultramagnetic Sesh, and then going on to do a Dr. Octagon sesh with Q-Bert on the deck's. Beastie Boys with Mix Master Mike A TRIBE CALLED QUEST Pharoah Monch, Common and Talib Kweli all together.
Squarepusher - has he ever gigged here?
this random guy doing a separate set under all these aka's, doing an allnighter;
Dice Man Power Pill Caustic Window AFX Blue Calx Bradley Strider GAK Polygon Window Q-Chastic
Oh and Rolf Harris doing a battle with Bill Bailey. It could be an MC battle followed by a B2B Deck's battle, and then a fight like Duel on Gladiators.
This is one of our ideal headline acts. Been wanting to book him for ages. We got no reply when we enquired... one day, one day.....

Thanks to everyone that came down last night- it was fu*king sick!! Best party we've done so far!! Everyone that played absolutely smashed it -Frenic and 2D with the hip hop selection and Superisk's dubstep rinseout anyone??? Pure vibes in the main room all night. Missed Bailey cos I was sitting on the door but came back down to see Darkman D smashing it down with Vaga and Slacker pon the mic! Big up Asbo and Carasel- Penguin residents on fire . Props to Carbon on the last minute replacement job, big set as always. Anyone get any pictures last night-my camera is broken and I'm gutted I havn't got any photo evidence of the messiness-how did I get home and was there really a fire alarm when I was packing up??? Finally shouts to Rapture and his unnamed companion for the Jazz, funk and soul brilliance at the beginning and to anyone I've forgotten. Roll on the Crocodile Dance................................ oh and theres no plans for the Cooler as yet but I wouldn't rule it out, the penguins are just getting started.

Who posts on here a lot that you are yet to meet? I think emjay is a complete fraud. He says he comes to all these nights that i am at, yet we've never met. I don't think. Unless im right im about to show up my social skills, haha b You cheeky git I was @ Signal last night but spent most of the evening sitting down at the back of the main room as i was pretty knackered I've seen you at quite a few nights but just haven't introduced myself yet I'lle @ Timbuk2 on the 27th & Intrigue on 29th Good man!!

does that vibrating thing actually make any difference?
NO! Neither do the 4 blades, it's just a ridiculous marketing point designed by those fucknuts at Gilette. I disagree. My battery ran out yesterday and as it ran out I noticed a massive difference in shaving quality. When I first got it, I was unconvinced but now gilette have got me by the balls......
