Reduced tickets to a show people have already bought full priced tickets to isn't an insult at all...

email christine.swain@colstonhall.org to air your grievances on the matter

Standard moany response from Suboco  Roll Eyes ... there were a very limited number of reduced tickets as part of the wider January Sale promotion... only a very small allocation of the halls' capacity went into this sale.  Two Thumbs

This event is bringing one-off live performances featuring full band/orchestral accompaniment & LOADS of djs in Bristol's largest concert hall, as well as some great visuals and with a few surprises thrown in.... The show that Adhesive have planned is going incredible, and well worth the ticket price of a measly £22.50.  Two Thumbs

Last time I looked, the Colston Hall was pretty big.   Huh

We have more than one arena. Hall 2 is between 240 & 300 capacity depending on the event ... this one is only 240 - pretty intimate for someone who has been voted of the best guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone Two Thumbs

Hey Guys,

Just thought we'd give you a little heads up about this one.... Sonic Youth frontman, Thurston Moore, is playing an acoustic gig at Colston Hall with Michael Chapman. This is a very rare opportunity for any Sonic Youth fans to see them in such an intimate setting.

Super Everything*
A live cinema performance project by The Light Surgeons

Super Everything* is a cross disciplinary performing arts project, commissioned by the British Council and created by leading audio-visual artists The Light Surgeons in collaboration with a group of Malaysian artists and string players from the Heritage Orchestra.

Filmed on location across Peninsular Malaysia, this live audio-visual performance explores the relationship between identity, ritual and place. Super Everything* weaves different documentary narratives to create a poetic audio-visual tapestry, that together forms a kaleidoscopic portrait of the culturally diverse landscape of Malaysia. Juxtaposing tradition and modernity, this project seeks to discover how our complex sense of identity are formed through rituals.

Super Everything brings together a cutting-edge collection of the UK’s and Malaysia’s leading musical and visual artists to form this unique audio-visual collaboration. The resulting soundscape combines traditional South East Asian instruments, western classical compositions, field recordings and electronic synthesis, all of which are manipulated live and complemented by an stunning, immersive visual experience.

Exploded across multiple projections and different media, this live cinema performance layers together stunning documentary footage and motion graphics with a original, live electronic musical score to transport its audiences on a journey through this most universal narrative.

From our relationships with each other to our relationship with the environment, Super Everything* surveys our everyday rituals to reveal what unites and divides us. It is a journey through Malaysia’s past, to understand its present and to question its future.

This is a project that aims to elevate it's audience to contemplate our shared human story in order to reveal our collective commonality, and asks a timeless question about who we are as individuals and as a society.
