1  General / The Exchange / Serato SL3 - £275 on: December 23, 2015, 12:08:25
Selling my Serato SL3 with control vinyl, USB, RCA leads and a PSU so that you can play through Serato without USB

Works perfectly, only selling as my mixer firmware has been updated to support Serato natively and therefore I don't need the SL3 hardware anymore.

What about an 'experience' as opposed to a present?

https://www.redletterdays.co.uk/experience

For that personal touch and a more bespoke experience, how about a £50 gift voucher for the Honey Pot in Bedmo?

Whyte Stirling Hybrid bike 2013 (Custom) - Medium size frame

I've owned this bike for two years (bought for £1000).
I've probably ridden it a handful of times in the past six months.

It's in excellent condition, it still looks and rides like a brand new bike.

Super lightweight aluminium frame and carbon forks.

It's had a few upgrades to the standard spec:

Wheels upgraded to Mavic Open Pro3 rims last year at a cost of £150
Pedals upgraded to flat SPDs which can be used with clip or normal shoes
Rear mech upgraded the rear mech to a 2014 SRAM
New saddle
New 'biocork' grips

The 2013 model also gets better disc brakes than the newer 2014/2015 models (Avid Exlir 1 as opposed to Tektro Gemini)

This is a seriously light, and fast bike - 9.5kg / 21lbs

Any suggestions of somewhere which does a decent roast, but also has a decent outside area for kids to run around/play?

25  General / The Forum / Re: St Pauls Carnival 2014 on: June 25, 2014, 12:59:30
Looking forward to this.

my only complaint is, it's a shame that the procession isn't as big as it used to be.
Going to try and actually make it down for the procession for probably the first time ever. Usually miss it.

Script What time does it start? Not sure if I'll come down Saturday morning or Friday night yet.
I don't know. Which isn't a good omen for my plans not to miss it  Grin

12 noon for the procession :-)

Used a handful of times, boxed as new £110ono

Only selling as I'm buying Serato....

Bought back at the end of October for £149.99 from Soundslive.

http://www.soundsliveshop.com/p/Focusrite_Scarlett_2i4_USB_Audio_Interface/FR-MOSC0004

Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 adds another highly affordable and flexible USB audio interface to this increasingly popular range, offering a step up from 2i2. Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 features cross-platform operation combined with a comprehensive feature set and the best audio performance in its class. Scarlett 2i4 makes the perfect interface for both musicians and digital DJs with its two award winning Focusrite microphone/line/instrument preamps ensuring pristine audio quality throughout the signal path.
Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 features high quality, 24-bit 96kHz audio capture for PC and Mac based computer systems with bus powering. It also comes with two award-winning Focusrite preamps accessed via universal front-panel XLR/TRS sockets, which provide stunning audio clarity.

Scarlett 2i4 with its 48V phantom power capability is perfect for recording guitar and vocal, or stereo piano for example, with high-quality condenser mics. Musicians will also love the direct monitoring mode, which removes the latencies associated with listening back to the input signal through the DAW. Artists can record into the DAW in real time, whilst hearing a zero latency monitor feed from their input sources, controlled by a single knob for easy blending between direct monitoring and DAW playback. In common with other interfaces in the Scarlett series, input level controls feature a novel LED "signal halo" around the knob that indicates signal presence (green) and input overload (red), while a large-diameter silver volume knob gives you full and accurate control over monitor levels at all times, so whether you are mixing your music, or listening back to the track, the levels will always be in your control.
Alongside the two Focusrite preamps are four RCA phono outputs, two of which are also available on balanced TRS sockets. These, coupled with the high-level headphone output and flexible monitoring capability make Scarlett 2i4 ideal for digital DJs. Send outputs 1 & 2 to the main PA and use 3 & 4 for cueing, or send all four to a mixer. The converter performance ensures that the quality of the audio streamed from the computer is sonically superb. An A/B source switch for monitoring either of two stereo output pairs via the high-level headphone output provide everything that’s required from a DJ interface.
Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 also ships with an excellent package of software tools to help you get your music down straight away. The latest version of the Focusrite Scarlett Plug-in Suite includes Compressor, Reverb, Gate and EQ in the form of VST/AU/RTAS plug-ins. Focusrite’s established Xcite+ bundle is also included, which features Ableton Live Lite (for all your production, performance and compositional needs), Novation’s Bass Station soft synth and over 1GB of royalty-free samples from Loopmasters.

In good condition, were serviced last year

If they are in good condition why did they need servicing?

Surely they are in good condition because they have been serviced  Two Thumbs

My thoughts exactly.

1210's last for years - IF they are looked after and regularly serviced.
