Sound for the links, those boxes weren't the sort of thing I'm thinking.  Im gonna build one and just get the wood cut first.  Those havkspace people sound like a interesting group to get involved with so will be getting in touch with them about some other project ideas I wanna do.
8  General / The Forum / Re: Anyone know anyone good with wood? on: November 12, 2015, 18:47:05
Not exactly a wood pussy, but lack of most tools required and a space to build  are factors. Good shout on the wood project people, thats more what im looking for i think. Still want quality to be a factor which my own fair hands cant quite guarentee

Hey jack , I'm looking to make a 7  inch vinyl crate like the old bottle crates most shops are using. Anyone got the skills and the tools and fancy helping us out? Will pay obs ! Tthe other choices are nasty plastic things from zaavi or bespoke etsy creations over complete with proud wood lumberin hipster in frame .  Any ideas...

I know there's a place that makes wooden antiques on glow rd - is that a good lace to start?

Hey Jack
Hope everyone had good times chilling with the friends and famlays over Christmas / New year times. I know the times of festive cheer are over and Hijack isnt exactly in high spirits at the moment but we got a favour to ask of anyone still lurking on these boards and the few still posting. We have setup a little online radio project called Crate station 64 streaming Hip Hop, Dancehall, Dub, Reggae, Funk, Soul and a load more stuff. In order to keep it up and running longer than a month we need to show that it has potential and get at least 130 hours of music streamed by the end of the month. I was gonna put it to the good folk here that if you are feeling generous or need a new source of muzak then check it out, would really help us out if people check it and if your feeling it pass the link to someone you think might appreciate it.
Heres the links:

Direct stream - https://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/cratestation64/index

Stream playlist for itunes , winamp etc -http://listen.radionomy.com/cratestation64.m3u

We havent made any jingles or anything yet so is straight music with the odd ad for time being but we got big plans for this if we can get it off the ground this month.

29  General / The Forum / Re: Anyone on here good with fixing music gear? on: September 15, 2014, 23:26:21
I have tried it with a few different plugs so I'm pretty sure it's not that. I might try opening it up and seeing if I can see the internal fuse. Do you think it would be the same as a fuse from a plug?
30  General / The Forum / Anyone on here good with fixing music gear? on: September 15, 2014, 12:42:53
Just wondering if anyone on here can help us out. My mixer has just stopped working out of the blue, and I want to get it back operational again. No damage or anything like that, think it is the internal power supply which is knackered as it has been a pretty instantaneous break. ANyone good with these sorts of things? Or have contact details for someone who might? Is a a Rane TTm57 , the alternative is spend 180 on sending it to senhieser for repair.

Media monkey is my choice aswell after being a Winamp user for years and then trying to use iTunes after moving to mac just made life difficult.  Now have a separate PC pretty much just for media monkey , is a pain but i haven't found a better solution yet. iTunes def is the worst if you want to be able to organise your shit and not keep doing it .

it's in the books, I'm sure there prob is an episode that relates to it but is probably not half as in depth and mind bending
