I'm going way back and making Future Tribal

It is essentially the sounds of 200 people banging on a drum and some chanting. All made on a macbook pro whilst eating quiche in Cafe Kino. Resident Advisor and Data Transmission have said I'm good, who wants to book me ?

Are all 200 people banging on the same drum, or are they allowed one each?

There are 47 drums of varying sizes

Good ratio.

Have you seen all of Kranked 8, Ronnie? James Doerfling's section (the one before the Coastal Crew boys) is also shit hot.

Ed I've just rebuilt my Giant Reign. Can you come back to Bristol to bleed my brakes and change the pads, then I'll be up for a ride.

For fuck's sake Dearing, why couldn't you have done this a week ago eh? And I thought that The Boss said you had to sell it anyway?

This is why I don't go up North.

 Script

No the reasons why you don't go up north is you're a bunch of ignorant southern cunts. Seriously. I moved south and all I hear off you lot is "oh, Cambodia dahling, its just soooo amazing. Thailand. Yah. Its soooo culturally significant. Seriously dahling one has to be tolerant and well travelled to be a productive member of modern society." But on the flip side you're all a complete bunch of cunts about over half of your own fucking country.

Shit off.

 Laughing Oh dear, someone's tired

Quote from: wikipdedia

Slow lorises, such as the Pygmy Loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus), are very popular in the exotic pet trade, which threatens wild populations.

Slow lorises are threatened by deforestation, the exotic pet trade, and traditional medicine. All species are listed either as "Vulnerable" or "Endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

The slow loris has become a popular but illegal pet, mostly in Japan, but also in the United States. Its popularity has swelled due to popular YouTube videos showing them being tickled.

I read the first line as 'erotic pet trade'

Looking good mate, on the download.

One tip- name your mp3 files something more descriptive, that at least includes your name. That way if someone hears the mix three months down the line and wants to book you or come to your night or whatever, then they have a way of tracking you down!

189  General / The Forum / Re: Work problem - where does I stand? on: March 01, 2011, 00:06:34
@Spit: Hmm, they could send me on my way directly for "not performing", its in the T&Cs. They have to do some sort of performance procedure that drags on for 6 months but everything at work drags on for six months, nobody's in a rush down there for nothing. Performance-wise though nobody seems to have a problem. If anything the opposite, if my growing collection of thank-you cards and gift vouchers from various gracious departments is anything to go by.  Tongue Plus I'm out of there in 5 months anyway, it'd be a bit of a waste of time bothering to manage me out.

I don't know the timeframes for universities, but where I work (restaurant trade, so private sector) we can performance manage someone out quite swiftly if we need to- for lateness it could potentially be done in a fortnight I think. If you're on a Final Written then you're already two-thirds of the way through the procedure.

If you're doing a good job at your job then you're sweet, but I would have been remiss not to give my two cents as your opening paragraph rang a few bells with me (I work in HR).

On a semi-related note, if you want a good guide on how to sleep like a champ then download this:

190  General / The Forum / Re: Work problem - where does I stand? on: February 28, 2011, 23:53:35

I could be wrong, but I always thought constructive dismissal related to either unreasonable behaviour that leads to the employer sacking the employee, or unreasonable behaviour from an employer that becomes so bad that the employee voluntarily leaves.

It's essentially the latter; you as the employee feel you're forced to leave.

Noodle, what's happening with you is not constructive dismissal, but it does sound ominously like they're trying to 'manage you out'- this is when someone isn't performing and the management team need to find a reason to send them on their way. So to echo everyone else's advice, get up earlier (just reset your body clock by an hour, you can pretend you're on holiday), but also make sure that you're pulling your weight at work and give them no reason to pull the rug out from under you.

Apologies if I'm repeating something said in the last two pages, can't be arsed to read it all.
