"Plenty" by Yotam Ottolenghi. Loads of recipes that exist in their own right as awesome food rather than trying to imitate meat dishes.

There is a long list of truly horrific things I would rather do than fly with Ryanair every day

Pay a shit load of cash to a Jew or some slimey Greek landlord every month?

why are you so weirdly racist

why is that a thing

Laugh it up all you like, four people did die
5  General / The Forum / Re: Post some of your favourite lyrics on: October 24, 2013, 22:53:47
Antlers - Wake

"Don't be scared to speak
Don't speak with someone's tooth
Don't bargain when you're weak
Don't take that sharp abuse
Some patients can't be saved
But that burden's not on you

Don't ever let anyone tell you you deserve that"
6  General / The Forum / Re: USB Audio Interface on: October 24, 2013, 22:51:47
Do you need two stereo channels? Or would you be alright using the internal for monitoring and a stereo output on the interface for the mix?
7  General / The Forum / Re: Hijack 2.0? on: October 22, 2013, 08:19:22
when you have not enough user/posts, spreading those posts out across multiple boards makes things much worse. At least as things are people who think they're only interested in one thing end up inside any thread with an interesting title.

YOU'RE out of topic
11  General / The Forum / Re: How do I delete Account? on: September 22, 2013, 21:31:48
you only have three posts, including this one, what will deleting your account even achieve?
12  General / The Forum / Re: Another shooting in the land of the free on: September 17, 2013, 16:48:30
well, you can prove anything with facts, can't you? /s
13  General / The Forum / Re: Another shooting in the land of the free on: September 17, 2013, 13:16:32
Eh, a culture that normalises and romanticises violence, especially with respect to masculinity
14  General / The Forum / Re: Another shooting in the land of the free on: September 17, 2013, 12:25:28
I can't beleive this still happens in 2013.

I think that it's going to happen more and more in the coming years, I don't see that any of the causes have been meaningfully addressed at all
15  General / The Forum / Re: Another shooting in the land of the free on: September 17, 2013, 11:13:43
yet another brain washed mind controlled obamanoid in yet another gun free area. i'd like to see someone try this in a concealed cary zone if there. Yet another idiot tarnishing the good name of rampages. for shame i do.

did you literally just 'thanks obama' over a shooting rampage

Anyway, http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2013/09/16/review-under-way-after-bystanders-hit-during-police-involved-shooting-outside-port-authority/ even professionals with gun training trying to stop a suspected shooter ended up missing and hitting innocents, it's not exactly a great solution

has anyone ever met a conspiracy theorist who wasn't also a fucking racist
19  General / The Forum / Re: New phone thread on: September 06, 2013, 13:25:09
I've heard less good things about three's coverage where I grew up up north where it was pretty bad, but I think all the providers should be able to cover bristol properly.
20  General / The Forum / Re: New phone thread on: September 05, 2013, 14:57:16
Just bought myself a Nexus 4 outright for just 170 shipped

Where from?

Just from google, they're trying to shift them from the look of it
21  General / The Forum / Re: New phone thread on: September 05, 2013, 11:57:22
Just bought myself a Nexus 4 outright for just 170 shipped and on a 12/mo giffgaff 250'/unlimited deal

22  General / The Forum / Re: MoS sues Spotify due to track listing...? on: September 04, 2013, 17:52:30
Certainly looks that way; although I think they have a right to stop people from labelling playlists as "Ministry of Sound 2012" or whatever as that's trademarked or copyrighted or whichever it is.

But the order of songs... That's not really what the 'product' was, is it? The 'product' was them licensing the songs from all the labels for you so you could have them all on CD. Now, spotify is licensing them from the labels for you instead, and that's why spotify are getting my money and ministry of sound aren't.

25  General / The Forum / Re: Conscription / UK National Service on: August 23, 2013, 09:59:24
There are around 800,000 eighteen year-olds in the UK.  What's the something useful you're going to have them all do just based on being able to read?

what are the majority of them doing at the moment?

university or college
26  General / The Forum / Re: Conscription / UK National Service on: August 22, 2013, 15:49:47
The army only has 200k active personell in it TOTAL, and you think they have the resources to deal with another 300k conscripts a year?

Yeah, the army has their own stuff; they're using it! For the army!
27  General / The Forum / Re: Conscription / UK National Service on: August 22, 2013, 14:54:13
UK birth rate is 3-400k a year. The infrastructure is most assuredly NOT there.
28  General / The Forum / Re: Colston Girl's school "will not permit the promotion of homosexuality" on: August 21, 2013, 10:20:03
"Promoting" is the term used by homophobes to mean "informing" about homosexuality; stuff like saying that it's not something to be ashamed of and how to be safe and stuff like that. Clearly sitting in the archaic belief that who one decides to love and lust for is a carefully reasoned conscious choice and not a matter of the heart.
29  General / The Forum / Re: Conscription / UK National Service on: August 19, 2013, 11:00:03
Considering how difficult many soldiers find it to adjust to civilian life I hardly think the army is the model we want to use for breaking people into more obedient subjects

As suspected, the filter will also include "web forums", "esoteric material", and "web blocking circumvention tools" (just in case you were getting any smart ideas).

Welcome to the beginnings of the end folks.

never fear, when they get the quote to implement it, it will not survive scrutiny.

that's why they're making the ISPs implement it
46  General / The Forum / Re: Cameron's web filter // somebody think of the children [merged] on: July 25, 2013, 23:40:09
Jokes have significance, they don't exist in some separate parallel universe only connected to our own through laughter
47  General / The Forum / Re: Cameron's web filter // somebody think of the children [merged] on: July 25, 2013, 22:29:35
..keeping them safe when buying drugs from the silk road?

A thousand people can load the silk road in the space it takes you to watch stoya in HD...

many people, low bandwidth = the grass that genuine tor users hide in, anyway.

49  General / The Forum / Re: Childhood dreams shattered on: July 25, 2013, 22:27:46
that was one of my absolute favourites as a kid, good memories just being reminded it existed Smiley
50  General / The Forum / Re: Cameron's web filter // somebody think of the children [merged] on: July 25, 2013, 20:56:01
I've used TOR from time to time but it's not suitable for looking at porn, doesn't have the bandwidth and it's a very selfish thing to do hogging the bandwidth to get your rocks off when some poor bugger in saudi arabia is using it to avoid getting arrested or whatever
