noise noise noise noise ... the language is primitive, the culture is simple ... more noise
where to even start? you're a moron. this is some of the poorest content I've read on this site in 8 years. I preferred your first response, it was more suitably descriptive. one must maintain a level of decorum to prevent one's language coming across as "primitive"

I have been recommended Tattoo Time in bedmo, Pierced Up on Park Row and the one by the arches. Anyone have any good or bad experiences at any of these?
Pierced Up is good, although I've only been pierced there, not tattooed, but the tattoo guy is really nice. Not sure about the one by the Arches, but have heard good things about one guy in particular, but can't remember his name. Actually, this is probably not much use! do not get tattooed in there. they were bollocks the last time i had something done. plus sean has left now so i wouldn't even bother going there for piercing. look outside bristol.

That was over 15 years ago though and I've heard there's quite a few hotels there now
there are. it's getting dirtier too. plus Zicatela is full or poseurs. Mazunte and Zipolite are just 20 miles south and completely hidden (unlike escondido ironically ) bus it from there to Pochutla for next to nothing and then get a mototaxi. Also spend a good amount of time in Oaxaca city itself. Brilliant place.

I always found that if your using a laptop best thing is to disable your wireless as it seems to cause loads of problems, also if you have a dual core make sure its sharing the load over the 2 cores as opposed to the second core kicking in after the first is maxed as this also causes drop outs and glitches.
hope that could be of some help
This, as well as disabling the battery management driver (as in disabling it from Device manager, not just turning it off - same applies to the wireless driver) If you're still having issues d/l this-> http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml and methodically work drivers working out what's screwing you latency up by randomly turningdirvers off and on till you id the culprit what's a battery management driver when its at home? do you mean power management on USB ports? got a link?

afaik, you'll be fine as long as you book at least 4 months before. this obviously makes it impossible to book out there. i visited in March and spent 2 weeks. did a circuit of Lima - Cuzco - Aguas Calientes - Puno - Arequipa - Lima with various activities along the way. didn't book anything before, just wung it 100% and took loads of buses for much cheapness. i think i did the whole 2 weeks for about £250-£300 spend including entrance to MP. if you're gonna do this and get off the main tourist line then Spanish is a massive advantage. stayed for 3 days here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amantan%C3%AD with a local family. definite highlight for me. if i went back again, i would head straight for Iquitos and the Peruvian Amazon as well as the Northern coast. most amazing country i've ever been to. will be back asap.

you know about having to book well in advance because of the new government legislations etc, etc? i went at too short notice on a budget so didn't manage it. however there are 5 day whitewater rafting trips (for $100) along routes close by and these are sick

Hiring a country cottage with 25 mates for three days. £150 each, including the cost of a £1000 deposit. But we will definitely lose that.
raaaa. we got a place on the devon coast for £80 per person for 7 days and no deposit. yours must be well plush

My feelings on this are that once you start letting those types of nights advertise their shoddy wares the thing will turn to shit. People like that are brutal spammers anyway so I don't think you'll be doing them a disservice by excluding them. You have done a great job of making Headfirst a nice and easy to use resource for finding decent nights, don't let it get overridden with shite 1. build traffic 2. make profitable 3. moderate

Why on earth would you exclude potential users. New students to Bristol may have no idea where to look and only know about syndicate, oceania and alike. I wouldn't listen to these bloody music hippies/nazis, keep it as open as possible and enjoy much higher traffic and hopefully eventual potential financial gain from advertising and/or listings.
