5  General / The Forum / Dot Product Album Launch with Appleblim & Second Storey, Gatekeeper, Monic. £3! on: February 29, 2016, 19:18:54
Come and help us celebrate the launch of Dot Product's debut album on Osiris Music.

24th March at the Crofters Rights, Bristol. 8pm - 1am. £3 before 10, more after

Conceived by Bristol-based producers Adam Winchester and Chris Jarman, Dot Product is a project which draws upon considered lines of sonic investigation in search of heavy-load-bearing compositions that sport equal amounts of soundsystem pressure and abstract textures. This new project is based around sounds derived from frequencies and anomalies commonly inaudible to the human ear.

From all manner of commonly discarded sound sources, Winchester and Jarman have sought out tones and frequencies and shaped them into sharp-edged, rough-hewn tracks that celebrate the eerie mood of industrial music without resorting to the hackneyed clang of sheet metal and machinery. The internal resonance found in the negative space of an object, or the invisible fog of electromagnetic radiation; all facets that play into this unique creative approach, which truly seeks to yield musicality out of that which was not previously detectable by human senses.

Dot Product will be showcasing their live set, and will be supported by DJ sets from Appleblim, Second Storey, Mønic, and Gatekeeper.

9  General / The Exchange / One pair of pa cabinets loaded with 400 watt rms 15 inch eminence drivers 8ohms. on: January 14, 2015, 18:13:45
These are very sturdy cabs built internally braced. Each cab also features a pizo tweeter and 1inch hf compression driver mounted in a horn complete with hi pass filter. These have been disconnected as the cabs were bing used as low mid kicks as part of a dub sound system. The back of the cabs are fitted with quarter inch jacks that could do with being replaced with modern speakon connections.

These cabs have been fully tested and work well they give out a nice clear warm punch with plenty of low end so will stand up on there own if used as full range cabs

Feel free to come and have a listen to these you will need to bring an amp and cables

LOST RECORD BAG!! Sad - My record bag has gone missing post djing at Basement 45 on the 27th of April. Its a camouflage (which obviously doesn't help...especially if it was left infront of a hedge) UDG shoulder record bag containing 40 or so classic dubstep and grime from 2004 to 2010 ish! nuff rare classics basically.. gutted! and my double cd wallet with loads of cds of dubs of slow house and dubstep stuff was also in the bag. If anyone has seen it or has noticed someone rinsing out classic Loefah and dmz vinyls or has been sold any then please please give me a shout. cheers muchly

If Symptoms Persist and Wedge present what will probably be the last ever Wedge Show Christmas Special Extravaganza!!

For the past 4 years we have hosted a marathon 5 hour radio show from our house in Bristol where I live with dubstep stalwarts Appleblim, Arkist, and Gatekeeper. A MEGGA Christmas house party rave up featuring the biggest in Bristol Bass DJs smacking out pure dubplates on a fat rig while eating mince pies and getting merry on festive booze! All broadcast via webcam and internet streaming from the "Fortress of Bass" otherwise known as our gaff!

This will be the 5th and (most likely) the final year that we will be broadcasting this megabass showcase. 5 years seems like a good number to end on and good to finish on a high!

Previously the show has been broadcast on Subfm (big up whistler) but as I have since left the station the Xmas special 2011 will be broadcast from Ustream.tv complete with webcam and will also be recorded!

When: 20th December 2011 8:00pm gmt

Where: Ustream.tv (direct link will be announced soon so keep ur eyes on this page!)

Who:

Joker - (Kapsise)
