Don't Panic was started back in 2001 with the trademark Don't Panic Pack quickly becoming an iconic collectable for people across various different cities.

Part of what made the pack so sought after was the highly collectable A2 Don't Panic Posters that featured in every pack.

We thought it would be a great opportunity to showcase some of the best artwork that has featured over the last 12 years, featuring such great names as 45RPM, Banksy, Buff Monster, D*Face, David Walker, EINE, Shepard Fairey, Mudwig, Martin Parr and Stik just to name a few!

We will also be running a competition to win some great prizes on the night. The first 50 people will receive a free drink and raffle ticket.

So come down have a drink and a bite to eat, food will be served until 10pm.

We also have a tasty little afterparty planned with some special guests which will take us into the early hours! For more info on that check:

Just a little boost with regards to Brisfest, as mentioned in the thread here:

We are the only people who can flyer on the Ashton Court Estate. We have had a delay on our posters so have extended our deadline to Monday so you still have time to get your flyers too us.
We are looking into having somewhere you can put posters up on our stand for a £1 too but we are still sorting this.

All the other deadlines still apply for freshers though  Two Thumbs

28  General / The Forum / Re: Attn Promoters: No flyering at Brisfest on: September 05, 2012, 10:21:05
Yup as mentioned we have full coverage of Brisfest (and afterparties), we will also have a stall near the Weapon of Choice stage where will also be selling our new t-shirts (info coming on these soon).

It is looking like we are going to extend our deadline to Monday as we have had a delay on our delivery of posters from London so there is still time to get your flyers in the packs. Be quick though!

Blatant abuse of power.   Tongue Tongue Tongue

Actually another abuse of power..

Whats the deal with the Don't Panic sticky?

Out of Hand & Jamjar are cheaper, plus Headfirst Calender is more useful, as well as covers a lot more.

Is there some deal in place with Don't Panic meaning Hijack has to promote them over the others? Just wondering as its amusing in a sad way that the one company banging on about 'underground music culture' is the one that aims to commercialize and capitalize on it.

As it stands the 'listings' sticked aren't even decent, its a huge advert for Don't Panic, then a list of places that have paid them money.

Could it be swapped for the Headfirst listings? Mainly because it covers EVERYTHING and its not for profit.

Easy Smokelife, we have always had a good working relationship with Hijack. If you actually check the thread, you will see you can skip all the information about what we do (which is there for people who are unaware of us) and go straight to the listings, which we feel is one of the most comprehensive lists of what's on over the next week. We spend quite a long time compiling the list for everyone.
To list an event with us is a completely free service we offer, the only services you pay for are when there are costs involved, eg print & distribution.  Two Thumbs

With regards to the Out of Hand / Jam Jar bit. I find that funny. Mainly because our offices are in Jamjar and we actually offer a discounted rate through Don't Panic, so when you use us it is actually cheaper then Jam Jar! With regards to Out of Hand, if you can find a service that they are offering that is better then ours for less, we will always do our best to match or beat it.

If you feel that we are comercializing or capitalising on the Bristol music 'scene', you know very little about the industry let alone what we do. lol.
