I have long learned not to feed this particularly nasty troll.
Do you actually believe the claptrap you post here? You just can't help yourself from responding to my posts, they give you a chance to showcase your caring sanctimonious side. What does upset me is the amount of people commenting on news stories about this; saying it has to be her boyfriend or pointing the finger. The police have said he is not a suspect and they must have a reason for this. He must be going through agony anyway at the loss of his girlfriend but then having people chuck around accusations on the internet must be really rubbing salt in.
Do you know this guy? You sound like you're speaking from experience.

LOL at the people in this thread pretending that they actually give a shit about someone they have never met being murdered. I actually do give a shit when someone is murdered as i'm human, dickhead. Very debatable, you're just displaying a trait which is desirable to fit in with your social group, in this case the dribbling drug monkeys of spaz-jack. In reality you couldn't give less of a shit about this strangers death. Some interesting research on the very same subject; http://www.bristol.ac.uk/cmpo/publications/papers/2010/wp250.pdf

What's wrong with Tescos again?
Come on Bill, get with it, you have to say that you hate Tescos so you can fit in with all the student wankers, crusties and lefties. I'm in favour of a Tescos in Stokes Croft, it will save me from having to buy out of date and overpriced rubbish from damp dark shops run by shady looking Asians and eastern Europeans.

Are there any nights on anywhere which aren't full of kids? I quite often fancy a dirty night out but all too often when I have been out in recent years I just feel really old. Back in my early 20's I used to enjoy going to Metric, Locus, Intrigue, Blowpop, maybe the odd Vag night or Fruity Antics and some other shit I can't remember, but I wouldn't have a clue where to hit these days - particularly if I want to avoid youngsters. Is is actually possible? Or should I just stay at home with my bottle of Pinot Noir? This begs the question as to why you are moderating a board such as this. Time to hand over your stripes and fuck off to mumsnet where you belong. You are a good 6 years older than Hooty, non? I'm not the one whinging about feeling old in clubs. Some people just don't age well.

It only finished a few months ago and you sad cunts are already getting excited about the next one. How empty your lives must be.
true, but its better than being than a total fag with no mates Yeah, and you'd know all about that. not really, but i know that anyone who decides to become an internet anti-hero, named after a heroin addict from a childrens tv programme, is devastatingly anti-social and a complete and utter bell-end. so yeah, i'll look forward to your review of glastonbury mate Better to be an internet anti hero than a real life bell end.

I really don't get where all the haters are coming from. The guy makes valid points, delivers them eloquently, has munted it up with the best of them and came out the other side.
He's still a cunt. If you can't see that then you're of the same ilk.

As a cyclist I believe it's my god given right to disobey the highway code.
And how are they going to fine me if they can't catch me.
What a waste of time.

Be strong, dump the mental one, find a nice girl with whom you have lots in common, who maybe isn't as obviously hot but not mental, and see what happens, you'll soon find her even hotter than the latter as you realise you can have sex with her as often as you like for no emotional blackmail Haha, too much Oprah. You have no idea what makes a man tick.

Watched "night of the creeps" yesterday, fucking terrible, but it does give a nod to plan 9 from outer space in one scene so it's almost forgivable.

Ah I mean subletting a room out as one of the "owning" parties wants to move out, can't sell up though as the value has dropped significantly How many warnings did I make on this forum about the state of the economy and the coming house price crash. Idiot.

General / The Forum / Re: Why aren't women funny?
|
on: June 20, 2010, 13:15:38

I guess they're not funny because they don't have to be funny. Being funny to other people requires you suspend your own desires to make other people happy. In other words, most male comedians sacrifice their own egos, self-image, etc... in an effort to please other people. They don't worry about what people think of them personally, but only whether people laugh - it doesn't matter if people laugh at them. For women, being the butt of a joke - especially putting oneself voluntarily into such a position - is abhorrent to their sense of self-worth. If people are laughing at them, they're not admiring them.
Being a comedian often requires you to put yourself beneath other people (especially other women) for the sake of making them laugh. This is something women have a very hard time doing.

All the best comedians are men. All the best stand-ups and comic writers are men. I can't think of one funny woman comedian.
Why is this? We're all equal after all!
Yet women demand a man "with a good sense of humour". Why is it they always demand what they can't offer themselves?
