thanks to everyone that came down, esp. Christophe for the disco that had people dancing in circles. that's right..

Yeah, Christophe's selection was dope - always is.

Was a nice surprise to hear such mixed-up discoid goodness at Bleeeep. Are you going to make it a semi-regular occurence?

aye always try and have something different to begin with. I heard kelly twins and sell by dave three deck craziness on friday i swear..

Jeez that venue changes its name almost every month now  Smashed

yep tell me about it, i have to stand outside so that when people say "do you know where the black bear is?" I can usher them in.. Currently it's masquerading as The Kings Arms until they get a new sign. ooh soo confusing. However they've got a refit underway which should result in a sound-proofed dance floor with PA, lights and stage and loads of new comfy sofas and nice-lookin' walls.Should be a pretty awesome venue based on what I've seen - capacity of 450 as well...

Remo, El Kellys - nice one see you there!

Try http://www.freeimagehosting.net/
They give you embed code in various flavours so it’s nice and easy.

Strikes me that I was out of place not feeling properly rinsed after a weekend of fun - bloody driving to cardiff for a night out - shall have to make sure next time follows a weekend of carnage to get me in the right headspace. nice vibes though, first time i've been down as far as i can remember..
77  General / The Forum / Re: Does anyone want to buy a car? on: June 04, 2007, 15:17:44
What colour?.....any chance of posting a pic  Huh

yeah i'll get one.. it's 'calypso red', looks like burgundy in reality. Looks nice, two doors, fairly low profile. Sports clutch and gear box too I believe.
78  General / The Forum / Re: Does anyone want to buy a car? on: June 04, 2007, 14:58:11
got any kind of speaker-booster in there?

nothing like that in there, as remo says it's my dad's car so it's still all as was when he got it.

Remo - you interested or you gonna stick with your current sexwagon for the moment?
79  General / The Forum / Does anyone want to buy a car? on: June 04, 2007, 14:37:17
Thought i'd throw this hijack-way just in case anyones interested..

It's an M reg BMW 325 Coupe, 100,000+ miles on the clock but still runs well, leather seats, space for a cd player (there's one there, but needs fixing in some way).

£1500 (but all offers considered!)
80  General / The Forum / Re: NORMALISE | sunday 03.06 | POST VENN SCRUBDOWN on: June 01, 2007, 16:23:59
Will definately be popping along to this, thought yours, Puffins and Harry's set last Sunday was the dogs dangly bits. Good Stuff.  Two Thumbs  Two Thumbs

Full agreement here, shall try and head down for this one - will be nice to sit and listen rather than run around in circles and only catch the odd snippet..
81  General / The Forum / Calling all Cosmic Disco Heads... on: June 01, 2007, 12:38:11
Just got this on facebook on the Bleeep group (That's 'Bloody Good Laugh Actually' for any of the facebook massive that care to join - news, mixes, photos inside..) Couldn't provide any Cosmic meself but thought someone else might be interested. Also, if you do put anything up let us know innit - i need more of this in my life!

"hello cosmic disco heads, my name is JP. Some friends and I have built a site called theplayers.fm, it's a free service by DJs for DJs (or anyone who fancies uploading a mix for that matter). We're trying to get a good diverse range of mixes up there, and on a personal note I'd love some more cosmic / disco / loft /balearic type mixes up on the site. So, if you're looking for somewhere to upload mixes to a global audience then you're more than welcome to join us - you get to upload 2 mixes at 100mb each for free.

Pass it on!

cheers

Cheers boys, killer sets from all involved - wish I had more time to appreciate the bathtime techno but I could tell everyone there was loving it which was nice to see. Photos will be online asap, those of you with facebook ought to be able to find some of them already.

Once again thanks to all involved - Borai, Gecko, Matt and the Normalize boys: I ca't imagine another bar in town was blessed with as fine a selection of tuneage that day. Oh yeah, and there definitely weren't as many glo-sticks floating around either  Slayer

Next Bleeep is 8th June with one of Bristol's choicest minimal maestros Jay Curnock getting out his Serato Scratch for your delectation: free entry and new (hopefully) 4am license means we're continuing to provide you with more fun for your buck once a month at Sublime. See you there!
83  General / The Forum / Sunnying up the place.. Advice gratefully recieved! on: May 25, 2007, 16:52:49
Whilst I'm praying for sun on Sunday (if everyone could say a silent prayer on the hour every hour until 2pm Sunday, something along the lines of 'Please *INSERT DEITY OF CHOICE make it sun', that'd be great) I've decided to prepare for all eventualities so going to go on a mission tomorrow to buy/borrow/steal anything that will make the inside of Sublime feel like a summery haven if it decides to piss it down. Please note, whatever the weather we will be starting at 2 for the cocktail party and food will still be available in a bbq stylee so don't let the elements stop you having fun - it's your right dammit!

Ideas so far..

- Inflatable do-dahs: Palm Trees, Bananas..
- Red/Orange/Yellow lights

Ok so that's all I have so far... Grass skirts on entry? Get Boris to play Everybody Loves The Sunshine on repeat for 4 hours?

Gimme what you got..
84  General / The Forum / Re: What are you doing this Bank Holiday Weekend? on: May 25, 2007, 15:41:20

86  General / The Forum / Re: i got busted last night on: May 25, 2007, 14:17:26
Shit. I stick posters up on Park St every day at 1 and 5 at the moment, seen the feds a couple of times but they've never seemed bothered. No way I could afford an £80 fine, gonna have to keep a lid on it. Raises the old issue of "why don't they just provide some places where we can stick posters legitimately", I've seen such things in Exeter and it works a treat plus everyone knows where to look if they need the info.

I'm scared to use my a0 badboys now...
87  General / The Forum / Re: Bleeep presents...Day & Night: Bank Holiday Sunday 27th May 2007 (FLYERS INSIDE) on: May 23, 2007, 11:24:06
SET TIMES

4/5 - 7           SELL BY DAVE for some "late afternoon/early evening cosmic rinsage", with MR RICHARD CARNAGE potentially filling in til the   arrival of your jet-set roving iDJ reporter..

7 - 9              GECKO flexing his deep house vibes to bring the evening in

9 - 12            NORMALISE DJs kicking off the nighttime mayhem with some bathtime techno and some (previously undisclosed) boompty house
