We're sad to announce that due to circumstances beyond the promoter or the act's control this show will no longer be going ahead as planned. Eventbrite, Resident Advisor and Seetickets buyers should receive email confirmation of an automatic refund within the next week (As Eventbrite is a US based company the actual money may take a little longer to clear back in your account). Those with physical tickets should return them to the point of purchase for a refund. We hope to be able to announce a re-scheduled date in due course.

Was sick !!
Also big up Hijack. This thread doesn't contain any moaning thus far.
I had a great time too. Redbull sounded IMMENSE Negus Melody was wicked. The big system on the junction of city road and Campbell St was where I ended up for most of the evening. That was good and still pumping at something like 2am I think when I had to leave because I'd drunk so much Rum I couldn't focus any more.. Sunday was indeed Painfull!

We are going to have some wicked give aways on the night. Including some limited edition unfolded A2 Banksy posters! Make sure you get down early to get a raffle ticket! Noice! They were going for silly money on e-bay at one point. And that was just for the folded ones. None of the flat ones ever made it on there afaik as only a few people managed to cop one.. I've still got one stashed away somewhere special.

Anyone recommend me a really good medium hot Chipotle? I've been on the Iguana one from the place in St Nicks but I've nearly finished it. Cholula and Tabasco Chipotle are also both good but not hot enough IMO.

I bought a Braun grinder with the metal blades for about £25. Used it about 4 times and then the button thingy jammed so that the only way you could stop the blades spinning was to unplug it! fecking lethal. Had to chuck it away for health and safety reasons and because I like having my fingers! Pretty pissed off.

General / The Forum / TONIGHT! Urban Nerds v Blast. Zinc/Jammer/Marcus Nasty/ Uncle Dugs++ at Exchange
|
on: September 27, 2012, 21:15:48
|
London's Urban Nerds crew have been causing a stir on the UK Bassmusic scene for several years now, with a string of epic club and warehouse events under their belt as well as hosted rooms at Fabric, Matter, and a whole host of festivals. The Nerds' CV of previous guests reads very similar to our own, and after the success of our collaborative RamJam event at Motion early this year it was only a matter of time before we invited them back down to Bristol for another massive bassy head to head. To celebrate this monumental meeting of minds we've also invited down some of the UK underground's finest acts in the form of Zinc, Jammer, Marcus Nasty, Uncle Dugs and Tayo, plus of course The Blast and Urban Nerds' residents to help get things going. So Daddy Pinch is taking set requests for the Subloaded Birthday.... whatcha want him to play?? A classic dubstep/grime set? A Swamp 81 style set? Contemporary dubstep? no dubstep no techno wild style set or jungle mash up?............ Most requests wins I just want to hear that Jakes remix he did. And maybe some Jungle!
