Ah, well if its for two months then i can't be doing all that moving all over again. no worries.

Yell isn't too bad, i've defo worked for worse. Its selling ads so its not as hardcore, and its better money than i'm on in London......

so......  Undecided
3252  General / The Forum / Re: Anyone looking for a short term house - Sept/October on: July 27, 2006, 10:25:55
A) Is St Wherebergs close to centre?

B) How long is the lease?

Moving up in Sept to (hopefully) start @ Yell.com in Whitefriars, so this would be a decent stop gap solution till Dec time, when i can take Rory up on his offer.... [no homo]  Undecided

Yep, for deffo. Allready sounded out a few venues, and looking to do some collabs with some of the promoters on here too.... Two Thumbs

Mr Wolffs want me every Tuesday night already Shocked and would also look at doing a monthly FFTT jaunt, so i'm looking forward to it! Wollfs is the perfect venue for me, not into making loadsamoney from the night, just having the right crowd/vibe. Still running the night in London while i'm in Bristol too so i'm gonna be busy busy busy!  Smiley
3257  General / The Forum / Re: FUNK FROM THE TRUNK vs DIGITAL VERTIGO - London 12/08/06 on: July 26, 2006, 16:12:51
Ah, sound.... Two Thumbs

Vol2 is gonna be a way off at this rate, moving up from London & Job/House hunting, but it will be worth it.  Cool

Take it easy. Peashh. Lingo.

3261  General / The Forum / Re: MOVING UP..... on: July 25, 2006, 17:35:03
To be honest i'm looking for a flat or a house as i need somewhere i can settle if you get what i mean.....

Plus all my decks and records need somewhere they can live and be used loud!! hahaha.

Anyone who knows of anyone sound looking for a place point them in this direction, as i've seen a dope 4-bed house in Bedminster that i really want.... know of poss 1/2 people interested in it too, but it depends on what happens moineywise this summer for them.......
3262  General / The Forum / Re: MOVING UP..... on: July 25, 2006, 12:43:42
rob if you were moving in december i would have lived with you! ;]

Thanks Rory.... hahahaha.

Who knows what i'll do. Get the post on a Friday, as i always come up to see my girlfriend, but there was only quite a lot of good stuff, so i'm keeping my eyes peeled!!!  Smashed
3263  General / The Forum / Re: MOVING UP..... on: July 24, 2006, 12:16:08
Sound....

It's fu**ing tough because i know loads of students who are looking, but because i'm classed as a 'proffessional' it messes up lettings and council tax gets complicated.

Don't know if i want to go into a house share either....and living with my girl is not an option, too many records and equipment.

Hmmmm.. Undecided
3264  General / The Forum / MOVING UP..... on: July 24, 2006, 11:51:19
Right, I'm moving to Bristol in early Sept to get out of London. Already sorting myself a job, but wondered if there were any good websites/agents for flat & house lettings.

Already been put onto CPSL by my girlfriend, but need some more decent sites. Help please, and i promise to put all who help on the guestlist for my first Bristol gig.  Cheesy

PEashhh! Lingo

^^^^^^

Thanks. Big move, but definately one worth making.

Oh, and i was "Heavy" at Canibus thurs night...

From ukhh.com
Quote from: Phlo
....Lingo was heavy too, perfect for me. Meant I didn't have to keep telling him to get on stage although I think the Diana Ross vs Big L tune was a little risky - pulled it off though  Cool

3266  General / The Forum / Re: calling all hip-hop djs!! on: July 20, 2006, 16:53:10
Not strictly just a hip-hop DJ, but i play hip hop/funk/breaks monsters... when i say breaks i mean the original breaks you hear at any decent funk night. Played all over the place, and London, and tonight Matthew, i will be supporting CanIbus in Reading.... Shocked

Run a regular night in London (Funk From The Trunk) which is about to celebrate its 1st Birthday, and about to move to Bristolo myself and bring the night to you lot!  3 DJ's and an MPC at times are all part of the fun. As well as that we've done Freestyle Sessions in Europe, 2 festivals lined up for this year, and we also support the TCF crew and Xenz at launch nioghts etc....
