Current Value in the house!!!
...and he's agreed to play a 90 mins set so new set times look like:

Amen Homes- 10-10.50 Porkchop- 10.50-11.40 Svengali- 11.40-12.30 Trace- 12.30-1.30 Current Value- 1.30-3 Anorak- 3-4 Resinate- 4-5
OK thats cool. Altho I'd just copied them down so had to get the tippex out. Btw your sig has an error I think. It says... Saturday 30th May- Mongrel @ Black Swan- Current Value, Jamie Vex’d, DJ Trace, Scorn, Chasing Shadows... Saturday 27th May- Dub Club vs Mongrel @ Black Swan- Lineup TBC

Why does it seem like nobody has had all the good effects listed on there? Why aren't people saying they had the best sex ever etc. Are the chemists shit at making it or what?

General / The Exchange / Wanted: Room in shared house/flat
|
on: October 08, 2008, 23:59:26
|
I'm a 24 year old guy currently needing a double room in a shared house or flat. I would like to live somwhere near Gloucester Road towards the arches end. I am thinking of the following areas really St. Andrews, St. Wehrburgs, Bishopston, Montpelier, Redland, Stokes Croft... My price range is anything two-hundred-and-something a month. Altho I might go for something around the £300 mark if some bills or council tax was included. I'd like to live with people who are in their 20s (or 18/19 would be ok). The house/flat can be either mixed or all male and I'd like to live with 2 or more other people. They would need to be working rather than students or else I might feel slightly envious of them not working (I've been there and recently completed an english degree). I want to live with people who aren't uptight and that I can have a laugh with and hang out with sometimes in evenings and at weekends. Basically I want to live with people where we're mates as well as housemates. I will be reliable with paying rent and my share of bills. I'm into different types of music with drum and bass a particular fav. I like going out to clubs like the swan, timbuk2 etc but I enjoy spending time at home too. If you've got a room going and think you could offer me a viewing then PM me. If you have any questions or anything I'm happy to answer. Thanks.

had a fuckin wicked night played my first ever set if one of the rooms on the second floor (the one with the unknown rig in) it went fairly well and i managed to pull off most of my mixes even though i was thoroughly pissed the rig in the main room was fat ive never seen so many speakers in one place so.... whens the next one? did you play in the acid techno room? i played in the little room next to the long room behind the bar on the second floor i hope this makes sense That was the best room imo.

Sod buying new...get some chunky wooden 70s/80s beasts second-hand. You wont pay any more than 80 quid, and they'll sound really warm and bassy. Kef, Celestion, Wharfedale i recommend. thats an idea you think I will get a nicer sound? I wish I was more knowledgable... If I buy 2nd hand how would I know they aint knackered?
