Seems like a weird percentage of the whole glitch / party hip hop producers seem to be from Denver or Boulder (right next door).

One of the sunniest cities in the world ad well, might have to get myself out there.

The ghettofunk dudes are sick, been feeling that site for a while!

I'm hearing noises that enliven me recently - I have been languishing an an aural desert for over a year.
opiou is one of the good ones

Hell yes... Loving the glitch hop / mid tempo / party synth hop vibe! 105-110 bpm, good production and funk inspired synth bass lines is making me smile... A LOT

ill-Esha is another good'un, this remix she did recently is simply super (dubstep tempo warning for the haters!)

Spoke to him on email a few months back and he gave some good advice on that fat wet squelchy bass goodness of his.

I was recommended a good sparky recently, but when I spoke to him on the phone he just didn't seem that bright...

[so, so sorry].

yeh don;t get me wrong, I'm all good with food and chat. It was just in case something super cool was on that I didn't know about (which happens quite often).
11  General / The Forum / Re: It's Monday... evening activity recommendation on: October 17, 2011, 15:09:51
1st rate suggestions no doubt, however they sound way more like 2nd date activities rather than 1st! Never go dogging until you REALLY know a girl y'know...

EDIT: Just seen the last post, thank you for the suggestion, although Clifton brings me out in a rash.

Sounds... fun, although probably not what I had in mind to be honest  Smiley

I'm taking a girl out, was planning on heading to Thali for food.

Is there anything cool on tonight that I should know about before I go with the lovely, yet completely unimaginative idea above?

Definitely go to this, got an invite recently - looks like the highest concentration of beautiful hippies the world has ever known. Awesome soundtrack as well.

To get the best out of LA you need to know someone who lives there really (if you'll only be there for a short time) to show you the cool spots - it's so bloody spread out.
SF is great, great, great. Zeitgeist bar is a good spot, Haight-Ashbury district is where the uber cool kids hang out - I would live there but it'd cost me about $4000 a month keeping up with their lightning paced fashion trends.

Castro is a lot of fun if you don't mind astronomical amounts of gayness.

Camp out in Big Sur, stunning.

Pack up your balls and head for Oregon and Washington State - I haven't been but EVERYONE I've met who's been raves about the countryside, progressive cities and general attitudes.
15  Food for your Ears / The Desk / Piano lessons on: February 02, 2011, 18:02:22
Afffffffternoon all,

So I've decided that I really need to learn piano if I'm going to take this production thing seriously. And god damn it I am!

Does anyone have any strong recommendations for piano tutors?? There's an absolute f**ktonne of teachers so some personal rec's would be awesome.

Cheers all!
